InactiveAbsolute is one of the better performing poker rooms for affiliates. Thus I will continue to promote it. If you are looking for alternatives, I could recommend Ultimate Bet.

disorderMemberMy way of thinking is that we can boost are respect with our players by being honest with them. Most players are still unaware what is happening with Absolute simply because most players don’t read forums. There are many respected poker rooms so I would prefer to push them instead.

InactiveI have removed the blurb from my front page and replaced them with another room for now, plus I have put up an explanation to what’s going on including a link to the 2+2 thread so visitors can make up their own mind.

InactiveI have suspended promotion of AP ONLY until some resolution of this issue.
I posted on my blog that I will not be rendering and opinion or speculate on the outcome, I’m simply holding off promotion until it is resolved….

LOL AP and UB are the same company. “I don’t want to promote a rogue so I will promote a site the rogue owns instead.” That is a great philosophy. BTW did UB ever fix their issue with Mozilla or do those players still not get tracked?
The only way I could see promoting AP at this point is if you pay players rakeback there and fear you would get cut off as there is a commitment to your players to pay them. Even then it is irresponsible not to mention something about this. This is the greatest fraud in online poker ever and might be the biggest online gambling scandal of all time and it was a scam made by the founders of which there still seems to be family involved.
If AP covered up and repeatedly lied about what has been reported as much as $7,000,000 in cheating by its founders and insiders how can you send players there in good faith? That just doesn’t make any sense to me.
BTW AP has been deceiptful in many ways in the last year, even before this. One of the largest affiliate families had already delisted them over AP’s changing of affiliate terms on existing players. AP has also cheated players in other ways this year. For that matter UB (run by the same affiliate company) has done the same.
BTW these guys cheated players people like you sent. How do you know they didn’t cheat your players? If they did that is less MGR for you since you are looking at it from a selfish standpoint. Also how do you know they didn’t cheat you too? That is of course aside from the obvious where they changed terms on existing players in March and started charging deposit fees on players whether they deposit or not. I mean how do you know your players got tracked and the correct MGR is attributed to these players? Can you really say you trust them to do this right? I mean after all they stole millions, are you that naive to think they didn’t steal any of that from you even if it was indirectly?

InactiveWhat makes us all assume the other poker rooms don’t have cheats? Now that AP is under a huge microscope they just might be the most honest place to play right now.

disorderMemberIf you are not aware of the full story of Absolute listen to the podcast from the Rounders Poker Radio show as it covers the story in great depth.

That’s actually a very good point IMO.

poluroud20MemberThe AbsolutePoker saga may force other operators to look at the way they operate and conduct themselves properly.
Some good may come from it then

I guess you are right
any alternative good US poker rooms?
Yes there are.
I have been promoting skins on the MergeGaming network for a while now and have been experiencing steady growth in my commission every month.
They accept US traffic, so they would be my first choice for another alternative poker room to push if your player base in mainly US.
These are 2 of their better white labels.
CarbonPoker.com – PDCaffiliates.com
PokerNordica.com – PartnerNordica.comIts sad to see what has happened at AbsolutePoker, I fear this might be to much bad press for them to recover from.:flush:

AP was already shady in many ways before this. It’s hard to compare AP to the likes of Poker Stars, Party and Full Tilt.
BTW Carbon Poker does not take epassporte because of the casino games they offer. This is killing their ability to grow. I guess they make more off the casino games then the players they lose by not offering epass.

goldaMemberAs far as AP surviving from the bad press I would worry too much. I got on yesterday and there were 18k players in there at an off time. The network will be fine, although a small hit (20% guess) I would assume will happen.
I would continue to promote them due to the fact that they had an issue exposed and right now have to be the most clean poker room out there!other good options are: FTP, Stars, Bodog and Doyles.

InactiveAP are stil listed on wheretobet.com and I am not in a hurry to remove this brand. In my eyes even though they had this unfortunate incident to occur they have done more good for the industry than bad and are still a leader.

BepeciMemberAll Absolute deals are comming off our sites.
How can you promote a brand that haven’t told the truth at all in a matter as serious as this?
No offense but as a player I consider every affiliate who still promotes AP to be shady. Simply not looking out for me at all!
