I think your site is too advertising heavy, offers too many choices on one page, and that’s hurting your credibility and signup ratio.

    agree with randy

don’t take offense, I am about to “critique”.

1 – hire a web developer with a clue- the markup is rubbish, has no DTD, Lang attribute, it uses deprecated html, embedded stylesheet, no indentation… ooh and tables for layout.

2- get someone to SEO it for you.

3- use geotargeting – messages like “Sorry no players from IL, LA, OR, SD, IN, NV, WA, WI, MI, NJ, NY” look sh1t, imo.

4- I notice you are masking the affiliate links using JS… this is fine if you set the target domain (minus affil link) in the status box on-hover- showing nothing at all there is dubious in my opinion. people expect to see something down there when they hover on a link

5- go forth and prosper :) good luck with it.. in time it will be cool

6- do NOT click this link

I also think white text on a black background it tough to read for most people. I know it turns me off immediately.

thanks Randy. I agree to many choices.

    Alex,
    1. Why not program it in html?
    2. It is SEOd with WEB CEO.
    3. I also don’t like how that is looking like.
    4. is because that works with the new version of IE no more.
    5. I’ll make things better than they was
    6. Thanks

    1. The “html” is not valid… i explained why in my original post.
    2. SEO starts on-site, not offsite. the on-page seo is poor.
    3. ok
    4. it would work with any browser if it was coded properly initially.
    5. all you can do is try to improve:) good luck!
    6. once again, do NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK!

I find the colour scheme tends to hurt my eyes. Plus the site is not easy to navigate it doesnt stand out strongly where to go.

    1. not valid? You mean w3.org? I read about that but don’t know about.
    2. yes it’s probably on the start page. To many keywords maybe. Perfect is one keyword per page i read.
    4. Can you provide me with the code. That was working since i donwloaded the new IE.

Thanks for you replies so far.
But I still have not read ideas what to do instead of setting up a link list of 24 links in one place.
    Please post.
I think I’ll make one in the spotlight and a top 10 with screenshots and some info about them.

    Any better ideas?

    Thank you for your comments.:hattip:

After some changes I like my site how it is and will keep it like that.
All that bright colors and so much blinking and moving there.

i really think that having invalid and bloated code will hurt you in the long run, but gl with it either way.

    Ok, first off…

White text on black background, not as bad as some say; not GREAT, but not horrible either. If you were reading an eBook this way, then yes, white on black is probably not a great idea, but for a casino site, it is tolerable.

As far as the code goes…..BLECHHHHH. :Ohno:

You really need to run a validation and get some of it fixed. You have some very MAJOR errors being returned here and some of these cannot be overlooked. I am not here to give an HTML tut, so here is the link to your validation errors, there are plenty of HTML lessons available on W3C, check ’em out:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cyberspacegambling.com%2F

I hope some of this helps and assists you to becoming a more profitable affiliate. Enjoy!

Thanks again for your time to review my site.

I am wondering how many web sites have a 100% valid code and about its importance.
    Type in google.com. W3 shows 30 errors.
Of course it’s a good idea to fix the code in a reasonable time.

Bright colorfull graphics are looking better on a black background then on a white one.
Pages that contain mainly text are better done with a white background.

    Good luck all!:)
