    Yeah, saw it in the news. Brown is a bit more anti gambling. Blair was slightly more corrupt :tongue:

    They state .06% is lower than the US,, I assume they mean 250,000 people not .06% as I believe Harvard did a study stating only 0.02% of Americans have a gambling problem, and im sure thats a larger # of people but a lower percent. While 98% of americans have a bigger issue of being bent over the table by our elected congress it appears the number is slightly higher than in the UK.

    well….. speaking from the point of being one addicted ….. (not too gambling) …..

    I think it’s a great boost for online gaming. To have a Govt. funded survey come back with results like these, when I’m sure most MPs were wanting the report to show gambling in a bad light, is fantastic!

    The inevitable change to a more democratic government here is bigger news than the survey. I don’t see this changing anything for us stateside.
