InactiveI’m still waiting for the 2nd quarter bank wire as well. I just emailed support (if you can call it that). If I hear back I’ll post the response.

InactiveI have moved this thread.
All discussions involving payment methods belong in the private industry section.

Feed Proper 1Memberthank you so much for your reply ssd. its good to know i am not the only one, that i had not been singled out somehow and was not going to get my money.
i am really disapointed in the quarterly payment system.
not only do we have to wait 3 months but its been more then 4 months now!
i asked them over and over again last month when we were going to get paid and they said the last week of last month. they should have clarified that to the last day of the last month, we will send your wire. wish i could do neteller or some other method of payment, many people have already been paid.
i actually was counting on the money to pay my rent last month. how stupid am I????August 22, 2007 at 8:38 pm #746412Anonymous
InactiveYou’re not stupid at all, these guys need to get their shit together or no one will promote them anymore.
You have a right to get paid, timely, for services rendered.

Feed Proper 1Memberit is quite clear that they can respond quickly to emails and have in the past. it is also quite clear that they ignore emails about when payments will be recieved or anything like that once the payment is sent out. this pattern has been repeted month after month. i am getting no response to my emails now, is anybody else? how can we get more people on this thread? i would like to involve others that have not been paid by bank wire. did those that requested check payment recieve checks directly from vip?

InactiveIt’s indeed very sad what has become of VIP. When I first started this biz VIP was the holy grail of sportsbooks for us and then came Simon and Marty with nine.com and they merged with VIP and… well you know the rest of the sad story. No Mario, no Simon, no Marty. 2 awesome companies and 3 great managers that worked well with affiliates now gone.
According to a recent post by Simon he believes we have nothing to worry about as far as payments go but I can’t promote a program that doesn’t have an active affiliate manager.

Feed Proper 1Memberdo you think that you are not getting paid because you have not promoted them? have you had 3 signups in the past few months? I have not. my check is over 3k.

InactiveI agree ssd and Dom I toss in the VIP towel long ago.

Feed Proper 1Memberme too but i still have players and i should get paid for them. these players signed up before vip changed the rules. do you remeber vip used to have an affilate fourm. and everyone there said they were not worried about vip changing the rules (to take away all players and commisions from those that dont bring new players) because they trusted mario. very dumb, nobody has your best interest in mind in this business. when a rule is changed for the worse, please affilates don’t speak up and say its ok.

InactiveAfter Mario left and they took down the forum I pretty much got the picture.

Feed Proper 1Memberso why should they expect us to promote if we are worried about being paid? and only get paid quarterly.

InactiveAnyone who runs their business based on a friendship or relationship with an affiliate manager is being naive.
When a site changes their terms to introduce predatory terms – where they can take away earnings then its BAD NEWS … and it’s time to diversify away from that company.
No matter how friendly the affiliate manager is – remember they’re just a salaried employee with no special loyalty or bond to the program. Affiliate managers move on very quickly – as soon as they find a new job.
:Cry:Sure I’d rather have a friendly face to communicate with – but get the business terms right first – and then consider who is standing in the shop window. They’ll only be there 3-6 months anyway.

InactiveExactly right, Gooner.
VIP was pretty much the reason AffiliateGuardDog.com got started. They changed to predatory terms which screws a bunch of affiliates.
I say stop promoting them and good riddance.
