Yeah, that guy knows how to make mistakes :( I guess that is good for the Packers, though, and THEY are going to need all the help they can get :)

Somebody really hates Rex Grossman here, hmm, I think the Bears would be wise to play Brian Griese, Griese is a legend, he never did anything wrong in his career, 15 000+ passing yards, 3000+ yard seasons, 104 TD passes, 80 INT, 1 Pro Bowl, and 0 Playoff Games, that is just wrong, this guy brought Michigan their first national championship in 49 years in college, and his father Bob Griese was the legendary QB of the perfect 1972 Miami Dolphins, and won multiple Super Bowl’s. This guy obviously has some charm, get him in the playoffs and he’ll do a Burt Reynolds in The Longest Yard impression, he’s a competitor, just raise the stakes.

Griese is a class act and a very good quarterback. He could easily take Chicago deep into the playoffs if not to another Superbowl. If our idiotic coach Grudin had put him in instead of having a love affair with Chris Simms then Tampa Bay would have been strong NFC contenders.

The NFC better start building up some legitimate challengers for the top tier AFC teams or the Superbowl will continue to be a giveaway.

ANY of the top four AFC teams would destroy whoever wins the rat race in the NFC currently. The ONLY decent all around team in the NFC with even a remote shot would be New Orleans and they have trouble on grass in the winter, so it looks like another AFC shut out this season.

    Hi all,

well when I saw the title of this thread…. I knew Nick would be here. lol.

I gotta agree with the Prof. there’s not a lot of hope for the nfc at their current approach.

also agree with Nick. G is so much more a contender than Rex.
