Has anyone (in the U.S.) received their April commissions from Bodog?
It’s halfway through June, and I’m still waiting for mine. :plain:
June 12, 2007 at 6:21 pm #739422AnonymousInactiveI know they have a 500 min now.
June 12, 2007 at 6:39 pm #739424AnonymousInactiveTrue — I’m over $500, though. :huh2:
June 12, 2007 at 6:46 pm #739426AnonymousInactiveHave you tried to contact your aff manager? I didnt go over 500 for April but did for last month. I hope I dont have to wait forever for Bodog. They are usually pretty good.

June 13, 2007 at 10:48 am #739505MikeyMemberI’ve received my May commissions last night (I’m in Asia)
June 13, 2007 at 1:43 pm #739517AnonymousInactiveGood to hear people are getting paid. Looks like non-U.S. affiliates are getting paid, and checks (but maybe not wire transfers) are getting through to U.S. affiliates.
I am actually expecting a wire transfer (not a check). On May 10, Laura (from Bodog) told me that because the amount owed was greater than $2,000, they would not be able to send a check; they would have to do a wire transfer instead.
On May 22, I still hadn’t received the wire, so I contacted her again. She said that the wire transfers were broken into two batches, and that I was in the second batch. June 11, I noticed that I still hadn’t been paid.
I emailed her again last night, and she said she would look into it.
My new question to all of you: Have any U.S. affiliates received their April commissions from Bodog via wire transfer? Or, have any U.S. affiliates received their April commissions via check in an amount greater than $2,000?

This doesn’t answer your question – just an idea if you have considered an offshore bank account? Especially if your commissions are upwards of $2000.
good luck with the payment, that is an awfully long wait.
June 13, 2007 at 5:34 pm #739529AnonymousInactiveHi codename,
Thanks for the idea. I have thought about setting up an offshore account, but to date I haven’t done so. After researching the subject for a few days, I came to the conclusion that it would be difficult, a bit risky, and it would cost thousands of dollars per year to maintain.
After NETeller died, I’ve been able to receive all of my commissions by check, wire, or EcoCard. There have been some delays along the way, but so far I haven’t actually “needed” to have an offshore account. I am still somewhat interested in the idea, though.
