vladcizsolMemberBoy Dom you would be hard pressed to find a more volatile subject to discuss. I am running for the hills on this one… :baaa:

InactiveIs that the casino Prof was talking about a week or so back?
If so, I am glad that they took the steps necessary to combat the withdrawal issue, but if the rest is true – what a :bullshit: casino.
Again, there is nothing illegal about what this man is doing but I want to make all of you aware to watch out for this guy.
Yup.
as I would prefer that affiliates like this are banned from all Affiliate Programs as they make business very difficult for everyone.
What a load.

vladcizsolMemberNope not the same casino or issue.
This one is a real powder keg as the casino states there is no fraud it’s just advantage play that’s at issue….

gamesdexMemberWhat’s “advantage play” and how does it different from bonus seeking, etc. or are they the same thing?
May 30, 2007 at 7:12 pm #738345Anonymous
InactiveSame thing. Advantage players is just the term casino operators use to describe bonus abusers.

vladcizsolMemberSame rose by any other name.

InactiveAdvantage play is the combination of a good bonus and good knowledge of the game so you can pick the correct game and strategy to make the most of a specific type of bonus. There is quite a bit of math and knowhow involved here.
Bonus hunters just seek out the best bonuses to play.
None of the above players are breaking any rules and they are perfectly within their rights, it’s up to the casinos to design foolproof welcome bonuses or to rely on loyalty bonuses only.
A combination of these two is what many casinos call bonus abusers.
Then there are cartels, or rings, or groups who defraud the casino by using various IDs and IPs etc to sign up over and over again to take the same generous bonus. These are doubtlessly criminal.
But all the terms are so jumbled and used interchangeably that it’s almost impossible to have a conversation about this.

Inactivethat was not a good show by Josh over there. Cant just go and moan about an affiliate in public using his real name. It’s not like the guy broke any t&c’s, he only sent unprofitable traffic. I assume he was working on CPA, thus the contract should be closed and that’s it. If it’s not profitable for a casino then do something about it, not bitch and moan at a forum.
weird…

InactiveI have to say I am shocked at Josh:Cry:

InactiveI’m pretty surprised by this whole thing too.
I’m getting tired of casino operators whining about “bonus abuse” or “fraud.” Write your T&Cs properly and this shouldn’t be a problem!

InactiveI hadn’t realized that the affiliate manager had posted the affiliate’s real name in there. That’s terrible, and a major breach.
