I love playing Craps at Land Based Casinos. It’s a thrilling game when you have a good table and a few good shooters. Unfortunately when you play online it loses all its visceral appeal. I have a few craps sites myself but even though they were well ranked a few years ago they never produced any real revenue.

My guess would be that a good quality Microgasming powered casino would produce as much or more revenue than other platforms. Possible other choices would be Cryptologic or Vegas Technology.

    Good Luck

    Hi all (TB)

now this may have changed…. in fact I think it has at at least some online casinos ….. but I know when I first started gambling online … I noticed the craps tables did not offer the x10 odds that land based casinos generally offer …. which btw are what (to my understanding – not an expert) are what make craps such a good-odds game for players.

perhaps someone with more up to date knowledge on current online casinos … and certainly more knowledge on craps in general .. can elaborate on this subject?

I meant to say Microgaming :1Dopey:

BB1 for me Craps is about excitement. If you have been in Land Based Casinos then you always KNOW where a hot craps table is by all the hollering going on! When a table is running well there is NOTHING better. Odds on single numbers are not 10 to 1, even in the back end.

Hardways bets and single roll propositions can run that high or higher though.

When I have played online the tables did offer similar odds to what i found offline, but like I said it was flat and boring. You didnt have a hot shooter or a table full of bettors screaming everytime an 11 came in or the point was made. That’s whats missing.

Some games translate well online. Slots, Video Poker and Blackjack are just as good (or better) online as they are off, but craps or Pai Gow Poker are special animals that need that human interaction.

Maybe craps players have bigger pockets and can spend more than what a normal casino and pokerplayer can spend. So by promoting craps you target rich people in to your casino and not just high school kids. Or maybe not.:1circling

    Hi all (Prof)

I might be wrong but I know some of the craps tables in Vegas claim (x10 odds) which I believe is what you can bet on the back side of your come bet.

can anybody else chime in on this with such knowledge as I’m likely not wording it right.

by x10 I mean if you bet $10 on the come bet you can bet as much as $100 on the back side of it. does that sound right?

maybe this has changed . …. been long time since i played at craps.

Actually, there is one casino in Vegas where you sit down at the craps table instead of stand. It is only half a table and they offer 100Xodds. Yes, 100x.

Craps is the most fun game at a casino IMHO. To have a good time playing you do need a larger bankroll usually. Holis and I have donated plenty in Vegas:rolleyes: But its STILL fun even if you lose. I can’t say that about any other casino game.

Since craps is seemingly complicated to a new player perhaps the best site would be a craps learning site where you teach the players how to play. “pracitce for the real thing” or some such angle.

    they offer 100Xodds

    Hi all (H)

if its not too complicated .. can you explain the x10 (x100) odds deal?

I thought I had it right but maybe I don’t.

    thanks in advance

My heavans! 100x Odds on Come Bets? Do they accept that action on 6 and 8 also?
Are we talking 10x (or 100x) ODDS or 10x or 100x back bet at the standard odds?

IE If I bet $25 on the come and the point is 6 I can put $250 on a back bet and I am paid standard odds for a six coming in?

Or Is it 10x Odds On the Actual Back Bet IE I put $25 on the come line, the point is a six and I lay down $250 on the back bet and if it hits I get $2500 on my back bet or $25,000….

If they allow that I am going to be rich!

I gotta go to that casino the next time I am in Vegas! Is it one of the older down town spots?

    Hi all

also .. can you tell if there are online casinos that offer the x10 odds … I think expecting x100 might be asking too much :)

    Professor,

In Vegas at Slots Royale they have 100x odds…. or at least they did the last few times I was there (I have not been since the CAC).

It is 100x odds and they had a $2 min. table!!

So you could put down a $2 bet and $200 on the odds bet behind it. Then get normal odds for the number.

I am not certain, but I don’t believe that there is such a casino online.

If you don’t get the game at all you can try my brand new visual instructions:
    http://www.online-casinos.com/craps/visual-craps-instructions.asp

Read about the odds bet here:
    http://www.online-casinos.com/craps/odds-bets.asp

Online Craps: As far as I remember 888 offers X3 odds bets and their sister casino Reef Club offers X6 Odds. It has been a while since I played so I might not remember correctly. Obviously they don’t accept US players so I guess it’s not really important :-(

Craps is THE most fun land based casino game to play…. the most exciting, and the odds are as close as a casino allows in your favor! LOL

Most of the Old ( downtown ) casinos have 6x -10X Odds bets, thats where I play most of the time. Love the feel of the older casino’s.
