how about to instal a local mail program like the bat (Pop3)? Alt+F2 to check all e-mail accounts
If you have a hosting account it should be available, if you have a dedicated server, there are many available options, if you let me know what type of server you are on, I can help you with this.
I have been using the Bat more than 2 years and I liked it. But now I’m using Outlook 2007, I have more than 20 email accounts and I must say that it’s one of the best email clients I’ve ever seen than before. I manage all my email accounts easily.
After years of dealing with many email addresses and all the headache involved. I’ve found out it would be much easier for me to run my own mail server and so i did.
Nowadays, I use only a couple of email addresses.. and everything is great.
I can add more addresses or use static routes instead. I control the spam filters and everything else.it’s not expensive.. easy to manage.. and worth every cent
I set forwarding on all of my email addresses on all my domains to my gmail account. If you have cpanel you can do this by going to mail then forwarders. Set all the email addresses to forward to your primary email address that you check often.

I think it’s very difficult to receive different emails to one account. I like when each email box has its own email folder. Outlook allows to do it.

The bat is fantastic
Very robust and capable email client.The only thing I don’t like is that there’s no way to display images within HTML email in-line.
I don’t know if anyone is aware that Eudora is going out of business because they say they can’t keep up with developing technology. The upshot of this is that they are making all versions including the latest available for free but with no tech support unless you have the paid version.
After rereading the above posts, I should mention that Eudora has html and files embedded images so that you can retain them independent of the posts they came with if you wish.
I have cpanel at both of my server accounts and have all addies forwarded to my default account. It all comes in through Mailwasher – was it you who turned me on to this, Liz? – if so, I can’t thank you enough.
After I vet and pre-read including headers, I tag for blacklist, tag for friends, etc., and download to Eudora – but not as often as I should. It seems that after I read ’em all and decide they’re legal, I’m not in a hurry to download – maybe once a week.
It was necessary to go round and round with BellSouth to allow sending posts from webmaster@ addies but I finally got that resolved.
