InactiveUnfortunately, getting players to ‘sign up’ with poker rooms right not is not the problem….. a method for those players to FUND their account AFTER they sign up… THAT is the issue

Inactivethanks fatbill.
maybe i should have been more clear – by “converting” i mean poker rooms where players are able to successfully make deposits.

InactiveHey Big Fish,
Well for me in order of best converting/depositing options for US Players
Bodog
Absolute Poker
Full Tilt – Crap Revenue Share and CPA ( prob the lowest poker/casino affiliate program there is) But great brandI wouldnt advise you to go for Ulimate Bet as they dont pay you for tournamnet revenue (unless that changed over the last 6 weeks).
I would also stay away from microgaming poker rooms as they seem to have the least depositing options and they dont allow 11 states AND you dont know if they are going to stay in the US.

InactiveOne more comment about microgaming poker rooms. We all know micro casinos rock but my average poker player value there is $9 a player or so, some rooms a lot less. I would not waste my time. Maybe poker time is different I dont know. I actually gave up on poker because of the low player value. Players jump around from one room to another so it’s hard to earn that much off of anyone.

Full Tilt converts exceptionally well for me. 40%+ (depositing accounts / new accounts)
Absolute and Bodog convert well also. Surprisingly, Poker Stars conversion has always stunk for me. I’d have thought that with their brand, it would convert on the same level as Full Tilt and Party Poker. My guess is it’s the lack of signup bonus dragging down the numbers.

InactivePoker Stars do have a sign-up bonus.

InactiveI’ve always had week results from PokerStars also, which, as with you, suprises the hell outta me, and makes me think they dont count too good!
Full Tilt, Bodog, and Absolute convert well ( although revenue share with Absolute took a dive with their recent re-work )
I cant seem to get Poker.com to convert for me at all….

GuestI signed up with poker stars way back when … waited like a month and a half to check stats because it takes a while to do anything with poker …… big mistake.
couldn’t log in. Despite having the experience to know to contact the aff manager and ask if the code for them was correct and having him confirm this … (early on) ….. later when I couldn’t get in and contacted them they said they’d never heard of me …
aff program is extremely poorly run …. needless to say I just cut my losses then and never looked back.
I agree … I don’t think they count too good. There’s just too many reasons this place should convert and make decent income for so many to make the same claims about them. I’d look elsewhere.

InactiveFulltilt And Stars convert at about 45% for me
Bodog about 30% but few signups
Partypoker conversions are at about 25%
Absolute conversions suck maybe 1 in 30
Poker.com , dont even get me started , about 100 accounts a month and maybe 2 or 3 converts if lucky

337 hits
76 signups
18 new deposits (about 23%) and 58 total deposits. It seems to oscillate between 20% and 40% on my monthly totals – and seems a little lower this month with all the US depositing problems.

InactiveWithout a doubt fulltilt poker is the best for conversions I’ve been promoting them for 2 years and have a conversion of 46% retention is also the highest I’ve seen. Lots of other poker webmasters have reported similar conversions.
If you can ride it out for a few months with all the fees, you can garuntee a steady income.February 25, 2007 at 10:11 am #728589Anonymous
InactiveI’m tempted to try promoting Full Tilt but their affiliate website is so damn lousy that it puts me off. Want a text link? Forget it – go to the banners section instead. Want a banner? Choose from a massive list of promotions type. Just want a standard banner promoting them? Forget it – make one yourself. Want a report on your players? Get it in XL. I want one in the browser! Sorry, no can do.
It’s like they sat down and asked “how can we make this affiliate site the crappest on the market?” and come up with what they have.

Inactivetheir affiliate website is so damn lousy
I agree that it is in 1st inspection, however I have found that their reporting system is reliable and has become one of my favourites out of all the programmes I promote.
Want a text link? Forget it
What is the problem with text links, you get an affiliate tracking URL.

Inactive>> their affiliate website is so damn lousy
the most lousy site would be
you cannot locate the affiliate link after an hour search everywhereFebruary 25, 2007 at 6:35 pm #728610Anonymous
InactiveFor text links as soon as you log in Just click view tracking code , its under where it shows your bonus code
as for repoorts you can also view them in excell or csv
