It is now a portal. I believe the ownership has not changed though.
It still looks like a poker room to me; I see no resemblence to a portal.
If your talking about site layout/design; I think it looks a lot less like a portal today than what it used to not that long ago.
I think it depends on how you access the site. If you use a link with an aff. tag then it’s a poker room; if you just type poker.com into the address bar, then it’s a portal. At least, that’s how it is for me.
If you come in with a cookie, you get the poker software download, and poker site page. If you have no cookie and type in the domain you see the portal site.
What is this all about? It´s a portal all of a sudden.
