I’ve been informed. If you have links up to Sci-Fi/Breakaway for US players, I suggest you remove or replace them.

Once you can’t receive/send payments effectively to US players – the best decision is to stop accepting new USA customers. Just my opinion.

You make my point for me. I was told by Paul that WP would “most likely” stop accepting players this weekend, and to remove banners. Now, how can you believe this without a formal notice from the program itself. Makes no sense to do business this way.

    Hi Eli,

All information has been provided to accounting. Now, due to large amount of wires and checks we’re processing right now (as you can imagine), it might take 7 business days for you to get it.

Now, regarding other non very pleasent issues. It is most likely that we will pull out from US starting the weekend. Please remove any links/campaigns you may have running for US market. We are doing our outmost to find a home for our US players so you can continue generating biz from them.

Of course, that any non-us traffic you can deliver will be very well paid. I have some new commission structures for that. If possible, please update me on your non-us traffic performance. It’d be good to keep working with you on this new era. We’ll be having a new affiliate system, quite much better than the current one and also pushing hard our new poker network. Do you promote poker?

BTW: New SciFi site is up and running. Also, new freebies and bonuses for players and affiliates are on their way.

    Look forward for your feedback,

    Paul

WP is owned in some way by a publicly listed company in EU, thus their decision. I guess they do not see it profitable to pursue the US market anymore.

The funny thing is that as more gambling sites pull out of US, the more aggressive some will get that want to accept US players. I’m sure that these properties will be able to pull their resources together and come up with a viable solution for US based players. It might take 2-3 months, but its already in the making. I was mostly drunk at CAP euro but i think that’s the general trend…

There’s another thing that’s occurred to me as I stats-watch. US Players find it harder to find a casino and payment processor. But when they do, they stay there as it’s less hassle. Rather excellent for loyalty I’m finding, but obviously not so good if the casino then pulls out later. The key is judging which casino will stay in the US for the long haul :3eyes:
