In my experience the volumes on overture uk are pitiful, and the more generalised keywords, useless for the price and quality.
There has to be some volume or the mega companies wouldnt be there. I guess they are paying tons for CPA’s then?
What about using overture for 4-5 different countries and focusing on the smaller keywords for smaller cpa’s? Anyone try it?
we have managed PPC campaigns and SEO SEM in the UK and it is DAMN HARD !!!
BUT it is worth looking at
A) smaller PPC providers (forget overture), as they offer lower rates for the SAME keywords. It is therefore possible to generate MORE clicks for the same money.
Specialist PPC providers who have specific Gaming related Content. Similar costs to (say) Overture, but a much higher Quality of traffic.
