Yeah I saw this, but there is no mention that this is only for US affiliates – looks like it’s for everyone. If it is they can piss off and stop being my #1 covered site.

Funny how they are passing it off as being a convenience to affiliates. :hehe:

Pathetic, but… oldest trick in the book when giving bad business news. Waiting for clarification on whether to remove them immediately. Doesn’t bother me, plenty more decent sites out there. :rasta:

So what’s the difference if it does go to your player account – you still have the same very limited cashout options right?

Any news if this is US or worldwide yet?

Owly —-> :shooter: :flamer: <---- Absolute

Yep. Ultimate Bet said the same thing – that we could get our money any time/way we wanted it then lol. As far as I know that means the same lack of options.

This was after suggesting going to the player account option the other week. As far as I know, UB is still doing checks. But it might take less time to bicycle to Canada and back than wait for them.

When I change my payment to Player Account it asks for my login Email (no problem), and an Account #. Where is your account # designated in your player account ? I cannot find it !

PD – I don’t know what they mean by account number either.

I was wrong about Ultimate Bet. Never received an email but is is on their web site:

Due to new banking restrictions, UB will not be issuing affiliate payments via check. If you have selected check as a payment method, then please use your player account or ePassporte account as a means of receiving your monthly affiliate payment instead.

If you currently have check as your preferred payment method you will automatically receive your January payment deposited directly into your UB player account. If you do not have a player account at UB you will be required to set one up immediately in order get paid.

Can someone clarify the payment withdrawal options from the player account?

And no one from UB or ABS has responded to my emails about whether this affects non-US webmasters too.

I wonder what happens when you have 2 webmasters in the same household with the same physical address?

I know there are problems with multiple accounts in one household.

Rick and I would both have to have accounts at Absolute affiliate program. He has a player account, I don’t as of yet. Then what are they going to say when we want to withdraw, no because we have 2 accounts in the house?

Does this also mean we need to send documentation to prove who we are as if we were players cashing out?

I worry about the programs paying into casino/poker accounts due to the rules.

An update on their web site (for aff.) today (2/2/07) says that Click2Pay is back as payment option, though it isn’t showing yet.
