Inactivefunny, i spoke to my AM about the exact same thing 2 days ago.
He said “As for the numbers jumping around from last month. Our reporting system shows the activity of all your enabled players – if a player has his account disabled he is removed from your reporting (once re-enabled he will show up again). The problem with our reporting is that the previous months activity is not a snap shot and is dynamic so when a player has their account disabled it will alter previous months stats for you (but only in what you see).”
as i had a couple go missing from last month and a loss of $2300 – he assure it will not effect last months earnings

InactiveFrom what I can see there is a lot of struff that happens in batch with Bodog, so you will see for instance chargebacks coming through in batches.
Nevertheless I think it is all legit, or so one hopes.

InactiveI kind of just figured they were charge backs being done at the end of the month but revenue stats have decreased then actually increased after the reporting period as well.
If it says 10,000 revenue for that month on the 31st/1st is that what you should get paid? I always have gotten paid whatever it fluctuates to when the payment actually goes into the bodog cashier for withdrawl. So if it decreases to 5000 on the 11th when payments are processed that’s what I get. Is that how yours works?

InactiveWell IMO Bodog are the Nutz
My Best program by miles, even though they go against all my rules of picking a program as they carry neg balances and bundle between their casino, sportsbook and poker room.
I mainly promote them for poker and i find their cross promotion excellant.
Even though ive only promoted them for 3 months i can already see rentention is above average (compared agains other sites i promote)
Their stats are not that good as theres no clicks or downloads, but i hear this will change very soon along with a much better intergrated affiliate back end.

InactiveBefore you start promoting Bodog, WAIT. I started promoting them also about 3 months ago. However, I heard a rumor today that Bodog was slowly pulling out of the US market (article in EGaming magazine).
I started to promote them because THEY accepted US players!January 13, 2007 at 9:19 pm #722463Anonymous
Inactivei would give it a definite go, although your site will be subject to approval if you haven’t been accepted yet. my thoughts on google (edit: wtf am i saying, meaning bodog…my mind is going astray due to the thought of copious amount of alcohol to be consumed tonight):
1. strong brand with good conversions (smthg along the lines of 30 players of which 25 are depositors)
2. accepts ALL players
3. offers 3 gaming platforms and cross promotes them very well! (90% of my players have bet on at least 2 of 3)
4. i think i just feel kinky about bodog in general

InactiveBleuze thank you for the heads up on this one. Could very well be Bodog has plans to pull out of the U.S. market. With the nature of things currently I could see this happening. When I first started out I figured the U.S was so saturated with competing U.S webmasters I focused mainly on non-U.S markets. Countries like Canada, Europe, and, Asia to name a few. But I would hate to see Bodog leave the U.S no doubt.
Splinterfree Bodog had accepted my site about six months ago. I have been waiting to give them Max exposure depending on the outcome of another program. Well needless to say the other program is out for good. This will open up a highly optimized slot for Bodog. I saw this thread and thought it would be wise to get some feed back before proceeding.
Thank you very much fellas for taking the time to help me out on this one. It was worth asking!

InactiveBodog have no plans to pull out of the US. That article you mention was a press release from bodog just saying they are not going to advertise their free play in the US anymore.
Also Bodog just bought Betcorp and Bowmans US players database – which shows there intrest in the US is very high and they want to dominate/take market share

i think so too. bodog resembles a company with strong capitalist interests that is willing to go vs US govt :shooter: . at least that’s the impression bodog left with their announcements when the bill was passed…
