gambler_zeeMemberReally the only solution is to keep an aggresive link campaign going!

gambler_zeeMemberI agree that a new website, needs to start off at the bottom, and work its way up, but its really annoying to me when i request a link exchange from someone they come back and want all types of stipulations in order to execute a simple link exchange! Almost everyone is concerned about PR having pr doesnt mean that traffic flows on your site, pr 0 can get more traffic than as pr5! Usually when i do a link exchange i look at the site and make an assement of either it was thrown up in a matter of hours or the site was thought out and effort put in. pr will come usually within one update, and easily a pr 3 can be achieved with little effort!

gamesdexMemberYou have quoted what I said, so I guess your message is aimed at me.
I’ll explain why I asked for what I did. You say that PR isn’t everything and this is true; it doesn’t always equate to traffic. However, a site with PR0 represents that it is newly established and is unlikely to already have great traffic figures. Furthermore, the traffic you are going to get coming from a links page of a newly established site is minimal at best. Therefore, the only reason I want to link to you is for SEO, not traffic.
I would be very surprised if you link pages (not your homepage) become PR3 at the first update for your site also.
I’m sure you can also tell that the site I offered you a link on was not thrown together in a couple hours!

gambler_zeeMemberthe post was not aimed at you directly, i just quoted what you said b/c i get it ALOT, i am not a new aff. iv’e been doing this for years, and have made quite a few sites successful, and trying to get a link on someones homepage while burying their link in a link directory is nothing more than than trying to take advantage of a new webmaster, i however did place a site wide footer link to someone in exchange for a link on a pr6 page, this was not an attempt to take advantage thats a fair trade, a pr 3 like i said is easily achieved and yes i have made link pages pr3 on first updates, changing content and inbound links will make anything a pr3, i have a pr3 site that gets 50 hits a month b/c i ignore it, but none the less its still a pr3! Point is people put to much emphasis on what pr they have, i think its the dumbest thing to happen at google, and pr doesnt bring traffic, content does…..

gamesdexMemberLol, I think if someone gave u a PR6 link for a sitewide link on PR0, then maybe you’ve taken advantage of them
Regardless, links on links pages (particulatly of new sites) do not generate traffic.December 16, 2006 at 5:47 pm #719084
gambler_zeeMemberI agree with you! but the point remains that just b/c you have a pr3 link directory, doesnt mean that generates anymore traffic thank a pr0, if that is what you base your decisions on when it come to link exchange, you should provide traffic reports to all the people that you want to offer that type of exchange to!!!!

gamesdexMemberTraffic is not what I am after at the moment from these very basic link exchanges, so it literally does come down to a PR exchange for me. When I look to build links for traffic purposes obviously more considerations needs to be take into account. It really depends what you are looking for.
By best offer would be a link exchange from a contents page.

gambler_zeeMemberDon’t get me wrong this post was not soley about! i was speaking in general….

biggygMemberI have a pr0 that is only 4 months old and PR prediction is PR4 right now.I bought a few unrelated pr5 links for it which tends to be cheaper than buying gambling links and as long as you do have more gambling links even if they are pr0 i think it will help get your PR UP.
SERPS is more important than PR and there are lots of PR0 sites in top of the search engines.
I think blogging and article writing is best thing you can do for traffic , my pr0 is getting 80-140 hits a day because i write in my blog just about my own experience gambling .If you own it then you can also put your own tags in the blog.Count on 6 months – 1 year before you see it paying off. Any one of us making 100% of our living on this can tell you this is like having 3 full time jobs in the beginning but over time it gets easier unless you are dumb like me and keep buying websites and always have one or 2 on the bottom lol.
