This is getting worst by the minute , had my IT guy on my server 6 hours last night .there was some fancy port redirects and all that stuff done.My Netteller acct was attempted to be hacked and bless the neteller security because they can tell when somebody from another country logs in and it caused my account to be shut down.
I want to lock my 14 yrs old daughter out of her computer as she was the one who downloaded the file ,infected my home network and the rest is history.Two cancelled credit cards , hacked paypay ,hacked neteller , and having to wait 10 days til paypal investigates and unlocks me .God help me !
And two of my websites were playing the yoyo game for past 36 hours because the passwords were compromised . We need to move spring break up to March I need it!I sympathize with you. Last Saturday night I shut down my laptop went to bed, and woke up Sunday morning to a black screen with an error message that I could not do away with. I started on computers with a monochorome screen in DOS and have always been able to get my shit back. Not this time. I had to reinstall Windows and reload every program and file I had, not to mention download all of my sites from my server. And I don’t even have any children at home. It’s been over a week and I am just now operational. The only benefit was a nice clean sweep.

I guess your daughter will be grounded until Christmas. I´m always paranoid about my e-wallet passwords and stuff, as well. Fortunately, nothing happened so far.

The paypal thing happened to me too (as posted in another thread) but on a bigger scale… thank your lucky stars you didn’t have a bank account linked to your paypal like I did.
I am pretty pleased with the result – you should get your money back. They did a good job on the investigating and track IPs etc.
