Inactiverecentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker actually indicates(= same as):
recentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker/index.htmlso what you prob. mean is, in the past you went to
recentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker/index.html by typing in
recentpoker.com/full-tilt-pokerthe exact thing you ask cannot be done
i hope this helps

InactiveYou have to create a folder named “full-tilt-poker” and in it make a page named index.html
The when you type recentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker – it will go to that index page.
Note, that this will change the structure of your website.

InactiveDid not understand any of that , all i know it happened since i changed hosts , not a big problem , just was wondering why , thought there might be an easy fix like a sitewide redirect from non .html to .html like there is for www s non www
reason i asked is because i have a few pages without .html in the search engines with good listings , and they wernt getting any hits the past few days and i was wondering why , so i just made a copy of the page for the time being and saved it without the .html in a renamed file and they seem to work for now

InactiveSome hosts such as 1and1 will fuzzy match urls for you, hence it will open a .html file without having it, most hosts need exact urls..

Inactivewhen you see or have a page without html, like
recentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker
it is actually recentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker/index.html
and these can be found under both adressesthis is completely different from recentpoker.com/full-tilt-poker.html
pages without .html do not exist, those are folders/directories

Inactivegoogle .htaccess redirect or mod rewrite. I´m not a grand champion of rewriting urls myself but this is what you need to do if you want have your urls appear in a certain style.

Basically this is the easiest and quickest way to do what you want.
