InactiveClear easy to understand stats, with a detailed expandable data base.
Examples I like , casino rewards and vegas partners stat pages ,
Ones that need help, all rtg .November 9, 2006 at 9:35 am #715055Anonymous
InactiveI’d probably expand no 5 (US Players). It’s a good idea to indicate whether they do accept US residents and State restrictions, but it would be handy to know which other target markets they do well in so we have more information with which to diversify.
It would also be interestesting to know which markets are humming and the market share?
Cheers
Simmo!

InactiveI agree with Simmo that it would be good to indicate if they do accept US players, however, that would not be a major point which would make me decide whether or not to sihn up at the program or not. There are many programs that have never accepted US players but still are good programs depending on your traffic.
Would be good to see a breakdown of the different markets that a program does offer too and how well they do in each.

vladcizsolMemberThe point of accepting US players was something I personally look for. Call me a greedy bastard, but I am in the business to make money. If a partner rejects 80% of the market then it severely limits their earning potential and makes them unattractive to ME no matter how wonderful they may be.
I agree that programs should clearly define which players they accept and which they dont at the outset so that affiliates can make an informed decision.
How does this look?:
5. Must clearly define which players are accepted. If US Players are accepted then a listing of any individual states which are prohibited should be displayed in the Affiliate Terms and Conditions.

Inactive1. Accurate statistics and reporting.
Can we include REFERRER STATS in that one? It’s not that damn hard to provide, and it sure would make it easier to identify trends and offerings!

vladcizsolMemberSure we can include that as a want. It would be helpful.

Was not trying to insinuate anything – just elaborated on that point as it does not necessarily detract webmasters from a program. Especially under the heading “Top Things Webmasters Want”.
Maybe adding the point about which markets they do target worldwide.

5. Indicate which markets they target worldwide.

InactiveI like the list so far. Along with fatbill, I also would like to see referrer stats. This is pretty easy to do, and a few programs already provide this very valuable information.
Also —
- I like programs that have clear, unambiguous terms and conditions.
- I prefer programs that don’t bundle their casinos (i.e. each casino is ring fenced to prevent negative revenue at one casino from affecting positive revenue at the other casinos.
- I tend to give better exposure to programs that don’t carry over negative balances.

InactiveNot bad prof. but a little wishy washy in the detail.
By this I mean it doesn’t spell out exactly what you’re looking for :
eg “accurate stats” … of course – but of what?So try this list.
1. A good reputation within the player and affiliate community.
– no SPAMMING
– no scraping blackhat affiliates
– no payment problems or bonus issues.2. Program must generate competitive monthly earnings.
– 35% minimum tier
– no tiers is fine (a profitable player is profitable no matter who referred them)3. Accurate statistics and reporting
– preferably at user level.
– showing clicks, regs, downloads, deposits, stakes, winnings, profit, share.4. Plaenty of global payment options for players and affiliates
– Neteller, Moneybookers, Click2pay, Citadel, Credit cards, bank transfer.5. Prompt payment of commissions earned.
– 20th of next month is good. Earlier is better.6. A responsive and proactive affiliate management team.
– emails returned within 48 hours
– requests for affiliate/customer help actually dealt with.7. Fresh and attractive advertising creatives.
– monthly bonus banners changed quickly to reflect offers.
– banners in usual sizes 120×60, 468×60, 125×125, 120×6008. Competitive player promotions and bonuses.
– 100% match bonus for casino
– achievable playthrough requirements that are easy to understand.Gimme a casino or poker room that does this – and I’m THERE !!

InactiveAh yeah … I just meant spell it out a bit more …
When I was working in IT – all customers / clients would ask for their systems to be user friendly … and all new analysts would faithfully write it down as a requirement.
(as if anyone sets out to write things that are NOT “user friendly”)
WTF does “user friendly” mean?
– a smiley face in each corner of the page ?
– a happy greeting whenever you login?
:tongue:So while I agreed with everything on your list .. I didn’t know exactly what it meant specifically and how it would be measured …
(It’s the project manager in me coming out I guess …)
