I would not rely on Canada though, its politics depend heavily on the behavor of their neighbours to the south.I recommend 1&1 UK or Hostway UK. Both of them have reasonably priced plans with good features.
it might be worth while to also contact the host and see where their servers are located.
some .co.uk’s will resell hosting on a US server(because its a whole lot cheaper!).
Be careful when chosing a hosting company, 1&1 UK does not have their servers in the UK but in Germany, and rackspace.co.uk will not accept casino affiliate sites since it is essentially a US company ( I spoke to both companies). You need to make sure that when you are chosing a hosting company:
1. It is not a US company with just a rep office, since then the US can still have a say so on your server.
2. Ask where the servers are physically located.Check this link out. I’ve got 3 of my gambling sites hosted here –

has IP Address: 216.65.1.130
and is located in Hailey, ID, UNITED STATESDepends what you want but I use Rackspace (expensive but excelent), Donhost (http://www.donhost.co.uk/) fo dedicated and Netweaver (windows) for shared.
Donhost is fine, but rackspace does not allow casino affiliate sites since they are a US company and only have a rep office in the UK (this is what they told me on the phone)
