Hi Lagunacat – I think its worth bearing in mind that the majority of casinos who have bailed out are either 1. based in the uk ie on the uk stock exchange or 2. have their main offices or are based in Isreal – These 2 nations are not impressed by the USA Government declaring them by virtue of this “law” money launderers and terrorists.

I dont think we should be turning against any programs who have bailed out just yet – but then again we all have differing views, but things as they stand will follow the usual trend in we are not careful – shock – pain – anger.

    Business is business.

While I too am less than thrilled at the idea that some of my affiliates are bailing, I can’t fault them 100%. The US gov’t is playing it’s usual games of manipulation and bullying with this ban.

I agree with lagunacat as far as the programs that are fighting it out and I will push harder for them. But at the same time, the companies that bailed didn’t do so just to screw us, and we have all made good money from them up til now. If anything should change sooner or later as to the status of online gaming and these companies reopen their doors to us (I am in the US), I will once again market their product. I’m in this for the money, not the politics. I’ve never had any problems getting paid from any of these programs or I wouldn’t have pushed them to begin with.

I don’t blame these programs at all, its not there fault, Playtech have told all its licensees they have to pull the plug on US players, if they don’t they lose the license so they have to comply.

Looks like many licencees will be jumping off the Playtech Ship – RTG and Microgaming will no doubt be having their salesmen working overtime, but some of these Playtech licencees left Microgaming originally so ummm not sure what will happen.

But either way the big Playtech casinos cannot survive in the same capacity without USA players
