Hello Professor,
This is our official stand on the subject as it appears in CPays website:
“Due to the imminent passing of the Federal Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act by the United States Senate on September 30, 2006, and in line with the high level of service that we have always provided to our affiliates, it is important for us to advise you that many of the websites we work with have decided not to accept wagers from residents in the United States. We will therefore stop handling U.S.-based traffic.
We value your trust, and will continue to serve you with respect to all other territories as we have done to date. “

Funny response. My aff manager said my international accounts dont matter as i am in the US, he said he is no longer allowed to talk to me and i will get my september payment and have my account closed.

I wish I would have kept the im session but definately that is what I was told, if my site was registered outside the US he could still work with me but since it isnt that was the end of the conversation
Id like a official cpays answer as im no longer permitted to speak with my rep.

I understand from your posts that some answers are due following our statement, so here goes. The statement that I’ve posted is the official stand – which means that if you were told something that contradicts it prior to its appearance, the statement is the rule to go by.
“We will therefore stop handling U.S.-based traffic.” – Well this line basically is what it says = no more US traffic.
“…will continue to serve you with respect to all other territories as we have done to date” – CPays has a team of great account managers that are dealing with traffic from all over the world and they will be glad to share their expertise with you regarding the non US traffic. We will continue to provide you and your players (that are not US based) with the necessary support and assistance as we have done to date.
If there are individual issues that you wish us to address, please feel free to contact your account manager or me.

So if I understand this correctly, US based affiliates will still be able to work with you, but you will only accept players from non US locations.
SO being an affiliate in the US, I can still send traffic from outside the US and still get my commision?

nightwin, your understanding of the new situation is correct. As long as the traffic you’re sending is NON US traffic, you will receive your commission.
