Hmm…well, that’s an odd one. Particularly as there is no confusion in the UK : online gambling is legal.

Here’s a different question – did the Ritz Club Casino have any connection with The Ritz itself ? If not, I would suggest they are making excuses and getting out while the getting is good.

If they did have a connection with The Ritz, then I would be extremely aggressive about making sure I got my affiliate payments. They have an impeccable reputation and would want to maintain it.

I’d be very surprised if this was related to the US. They’re a famous UK casino, and even if they have a decent % of US players I couldn’t imagine they’d close because of that – no-one else has.

Yes they are the real London Ritz Club casino, part of the Ritz hotel. You won’t have any problems being paid I’m sure.

WTF! This is crazy. Why haven’t they emailed the affiliates or players ?

In light of the current confusion and inconsistency in online gaming legislation worldwide, the owners of The Ritz Club London Online have, regretfully, decided to close the site to new customers with immediate effect.

So to me that sounds like they are taking deposits from established players, so why do they think it is ok to not pay affiliates on these players any longer? That is a breech of a contract, we signed up for life, if infact they are still allowing deposits from currant players. What is the deal with these programs not informing affiliates of changes as of late.:banger:

I’m sure they never accepted players from the states. Don’t get it?

Exactly, this can’t have anything to do with the US situations.

This however, does – WillHill has gone too:

I believe the Ritz is due to change from Crypto to Playtech. It may be related to that – they didn’t take US players anyway so I fail to see why there is any other reason for this unless upper management have stepped in not fully understanding the business.
