InactiveDid a test for you.
I have XP-Pro with IE6…and yes indeed the website did freeze on the home page the three times I tried.September 22, 2006 at 8:19 pm #707046Anonymous
InactiveHmmmmm. Thanks for checking it out.
I have no idea what could be wrong. 🙁
It seems to works fine with IE6 on WinXP, WinXP Media Center, and Win2000. And it works fine with Firefox on all platforms.
Very odd.

InactiveWorked fine for me on 2 separate PC’s with XP Pro and IE 6. Maybe it is build-specific.
I used IE: 6.0.2900.2180
and 6.0.2800.1106

InactiveThis is my build 6.0.2900.2180.

InactiveThanks guys.
Looks like IE 6.0.2900.2180 works for kwblue and ewhitaker, but not for opiemarket. So, I guess maybe it isn’t an IE issue. I’m not sure what else it could be.

InactiveWell, theres more on that line in IE that tells the version. Maybe that could be part of the probelm. For example my exact version of IE is: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519.
Does Opiemarket have sp2 installed?
September 23, 2006 at 6:48 pm #707118Anonymous
InactiveOf course I have SP-2 installed.
My exact build i 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519Some other factors could be security levels, script permissions, etc. But usually these should not be a big factor.
Engineer, just tried a few more times and it indeed locked up on me again.
For those who it is NOT locking up. Try the navigation bars on the left and top, the site does not lock-up on just the initial load BUT when I click the navigation buttons on the left and top. It does clearly lock up on my machine.I can try it on other machines here if no one else is finding an issue. I also have a machine here with IE7…let me know.
I do think there is an issue though if others are telling you…maybe there is an issue with your navigation script if you are using one.
