InactiveI watched it at my Dads house while working on his computer.
Didn’t catch a lot but did notice that she said the wire act specifically says that internet gambling is illegal, they even showed a picture of the law itself highlighted.
To the best of my knowledge that is wrong and that is what the issue is all about.
Do I have it backwards?

InactiveThey generalised a lot of the information, which makes it not inaccurate – but not completely accurate either.
For example – They metioned David Carruthers, but did not mention that he was taking bets from US player (sportsbets) over telephone lines (which has been prohibited for a very long time).
I think the story was from last year with updates from current topics. That did not look like the conference I just went to. Maybe I am wrong, though.

InactiveIt doesn’t matter much if its legal or illegal … what
matters is if the government decides to act or not against
something … take the Mexican border for example
… its illegal to cross it …
but as many as 20 million gringos broke the law and uncle Sam actually
welcomes them.
