What do you mean, the average cost of this service? Do you mean the software required to host a blog? Or?

I want to know what others are charging for managing (content writing etc.) other peoples blogs.. and in turn, what I should charge.

Thanx for the super fast reply!

    Hi LadyHoldem.

Your writing skills are quite good actually. (real casinos)

    I think it’s the marketing.

On SYN you offer/market the technical aspects of a game review, ie.. Each review contains; Platform, minimum and maximum coin denominations, # of lines and reels, and progressive, bonus, scatter details.

This information is so easily obtainable for your target audience (webmasters, site owners) that in all honesty it may not be worth buying.

However, the writing is very good and I can tell that a lot of effort goes into it. Therefore, why not display some partial or sample game reviews and list the benefits of having theses reviews as site content; packed with keywords, increases pagerank (real casinos 5), keeps visitors on site longer, improves signups, etc..

I think $20 is ok for a slot game review, I’d push NETeller more for individual game reviews as almost every one you’re targeting has an account. Paypal for the subscriptions.

    Thanx a bunch!

To be honest the number one reason I have no examples posted on the site is I just plain haven’t had the time to write them hehe. You should see my own site.. I think I have ummm well less than 10 reviews.. sad isn’t it? hehe I’ve been focusing on that a bit more though lol, so it may improve.. and hey, one of these days I will get some meta’s up on SYN too lol.

As for payment, I actually prefer NETeller, but.. *sigh* there are no easy lil NETeller buttons, that’s why you see paypal splattered everywhere.. honestly though, most ppl that order email me a few times b4 actually placing an order, and the payment generally shows up in NETeller ;)

Examples would of course serve a few purposes, 1 it’s content .. can’t hurt ;) 2, it’d make a nice place to plop some affiliate referal links ;)

Before we get there though, I have a few hundred screen shots to offer for free…. if I ever get around to gettin’ ’em up lol.. Seem’s ppl want them bad enuff to snag em, wouldn’t be a bad way to grab some traffic ;)

    Anyway…

To break it down for ya.. slot game reviews are kinda silly, (Like.. Sail your pirates ship around the reels of Microgamings newest online slot machine… sumthin to do with ships blah blah blah.. ) with all of the promised facts thrown in there .. and a lil sales pitchy, they’re shorter in nature.. say.. 150-250 words off the top of my head.. they’re honest, but.. if the machine just plain sux.. well we’re not going to say that. We know you want the review because you want to draw traffic, you want ppl to play the damn game :P .. but if there is a feature that could be improved, or something that just does plain suck it’s mentioned.

Casino Site reviews are about 250-500 words.. A description of pretty much every detail of the site, whats good whats not etc.

Poker Site reviews are very detailed and are usually between 500-1000 words same as above with some appropriate stats, etc.

The subscription options are newsletters and game reviews thus far, the newsletters for the most part are each months bonuses and promo’s meant to be branded by the customer, and have affi tags added to them.

The game reviews subscription is most popular with the folks that have already either caught a game review special (so they have 40-70 of our game reviews already) or they’ve bought most of the reviews by a particular provider ie. Microgaming…

Now they have the majority of the games reviewed, and just want to be kept up to date at a decent price.

Now…. we are working towards branching into blogging by request, most of us run our own blogs, but writing someone else’s is a bit new to us.. hence the reason we need a bit of help in this area hehe
