paypal is closing accounts every day. just send someone money with the subject “Poker”, “Casino” or “Gambling” and you have a good chance that your account will be closed.
regarding the 6 month rule : you can withdraw your money to your bank account at any time, just sending or receiving money is forbidden.
Just rechecked – I cant withdraw any of the money.

Angry isn’t the word for it.
I just talked to someone from Paypal and they wont even take the time to review the account and see that I am not accepting bets.
I wouldn’t mind so much, but I have a lot of money in my account.

This just isn’t on to close an account and not even review it or tell me what I am breaking in their AUP, I asked about 5 times and still haven’t been told.

yes for the first days. after 3-5 days paypal allowed me to withdraw funds. for all other functions the 180 days rule is valid. for me the time is long over, but still closed.

I wouldn’t mind at all if I can get the money out.
I have been a paypal member for just under 3 and a half years and I can’t believe they would just close the account and not even review it!
I own a traffic exchange in addition to my gambling site. I know lots of exchanges that had their accounts closed. Most for the following reasons:
1) paid auto surfs allowed
2) received funds from a paid auto surf or HYPI in the past
3) received gambling funds in the present or pastBecause of the above, many of the popular exchanges don’t accept PayPal – even if you have an affilate program, make sure it is one level only.
I accept PayPal on my exchange still, but I’ve got a link to PayPal of what they do not accept and I’ve got it in bold print following PayPal’s rules of what I don’t accept.They told me is it not allowed to have a gambling directory on my site and that broke their AUP.
Does anyone else see a directory mantioned in the AUP?
Is there anywhere I can make a complaint about this?

DeuceAce.com, I don’t think you can do anything about them. PayPal can be pure hell and biggest issues us that you can’t really do anything about them.
I participate in another forum (internet marketing related) and have seen people write about accounts been put on hold simply cause they started getting money in fast, no complais, no nothing … just because PayPal decided that they suspect some wrong doings. It cost affected owners hundreds of dollars and there was nothing they could do except switch payment processing for future transactions.
It’s pretty much a corporation, protected by lawers and agreements that turns out you agreed to at some point … with gambling related transactions, for whatever reason I would recommend Clickbank, or something similar.

I have just received a “Restricted Access” email. I had no idea why. I can now assume its my casino directory.

I removed Paypal from my casino directory and was reinstated in less than half an hour. Their “Acceptble use” list is humongous.They seem extremely heavy handed in their approach (freezing your account without warning).
I guess i’m not sure why you are wondering, i went to your site, you have onilne gambling ads on it. Possibly if there were none of the ads, maybe they wouldn’t have closed the account. BTW i didn’t look at the terms, because as we know, they can do anything they want and if you don’t like it you have to sue or file a complaint with your attorney general to knock down their “brick wall”
Hell these people (Paypal) have been lobbying congress to ban online gaming, so it’s not surprising that they would close the account just for saying the word “gambling”.
It would be nice if neteller would expand it’s service and automation so that we can use it in the same way many of us use paypal for non-gaming transactions.

I was just thinking exactly this. NETeller needs to step it up a bit and accept transactions of a wider spectrum.Yes, i wish neteller would start doing that to.
I just had mine sort of stopped to – i can do anything like send, receive, withdraw money but just not close the account.
just as well as i had near $10K in there when they did it.
I rang my paypal account manager, but he says gambling directory is in there T&C as not allowed.Reason they didnt shut my account like DeuceAce.com is prob i pay them about $1000 per month in fees as i have a highish turnover ebay account.
I now have bollock loads of work to do, as i have to cancel all my subscriptions and work out whos subscription is whos and when they first started paying and set up new ones etc etc etc
arhhhhhhggggggggggggg – so much work already, before this – i really need a clone to help me, managing 1 general very busy web directory, 3 gambling dir, 1 x poker and 1 x large casino portal, project of another 21 sites in development and an ebay store with 200-300 sales a week. :suicide:
I need more hours in a day………please……………………………. :shooter:
