InactiveYeah – I just started promoting them more heavily too!!! Crap!!
I can’t beleive they do that, but nobody seems to have noticed until they set the stats out there for all to see. I wonder if they just thought we knew and were ok with it?? I am going to have to drop them also
Unfortunate, because I think 49er is a good RTG and there aren’t many out there. On the other hand – maybe I’ll keep them just for the players. They need quality RTG casinos to play at. I’ll just offer up Club USA first!

InactiveThey have always been like that, then changed the stats display so you could not see, now you can see again.
I carry them because the Sands and Omni are class acts for players, and 49er is a decent RTG.
I don’t give them prominent exposure. Once you have a player base you make a fairly steady commission, albeit low unless you send a decent nmber of players. The comission % increases fairly fast.
The Sands is famous for its monthly bonus and it keeps people coming back, so some players will stick for years.
Big minus there: they have very unfavorable conditons. Two plusses there: above average casinos and good retention.
Since BB1 is not here to add his two bits: He would surely say that he hates them and thinks they are crooks. BB1 and I used to argue all over the place with this.
So duly note his opinion.
I hope BB1 makes it back soon.

InactiveOoops, I don’t see the % increasing anymore, all I can find is 25% flat.
Maybe they changed it and don’t offer the progressive percentage anymore.September 2, 2006 at 4:45 pm #704355Anonymous
InactiveI have been saying they are crooks for a year. I haven’t looked at the new stats page yet, but they just make up the rules as they see fit. There have been several threads in the focal click forum, but I guess they get archived. God help the small affiliate in this group because they tell them all different BS like, you need at least 3 active players to get paid, or well, you have 5 players but 3 of them signed up at the same time so they don’t count, all kinds of BS.
This is one of those groups (like Bodog) that is good for the players but bad for the affiliates.

I am not aware of any out and out personal attacks there that warranted being archived.
Usually threads only get archived when the original author requests it, when they are out and out personal attacks that are too bad for even the freeforall section (the professor archives those) and I do archive threads with openly racist personal attacks and insults.
Other than that we don’t archive here and you should look in the focal forum to find what you are looking for.

InactiveThe percentage you see there initially is a % of the GROSS revenue.
According to their T&C’s,Player Comps: Affiliate is charged their affiliate % of the comps given to their players.
So, all we need to make sure of is that the amount listed in that section is really the actual % of the total comps, then all is well because they could deduct the amount from the gross and take the 25% after that and you would end up with the same amount.
Maybe they should change the order of the summary and only work out the % at the end to stop confusion.
Obviously a few programs differ, but most work on the net gaming.
This is also nothing new at Focal.. it has been like this for as long as I can remember.
A lot of groups do that – deduct the bonuses etc (the percentage of them) from your gross revenue and work out your earnings from the Net revenue.
Just the way I see it.. maybe I am not seeing something.

Inactivebut the sliding percentage has disappeared.
Used to be if you sent more players you’d get a higher %, adjusted automatically in the stats during the month. They used to have a chart for that. I don’t see it anymore.

That is a different issue to what the thread started off with.
I see a different percentage as I always did. maybe it is just not written there and still exists. Maybe they changed it for the new signups, maybe not.. but as I said.. I see it.

InactiveSorry Dom, you are correct. I didn’t realize I had my browser set to only show threads from the past month.
