as far as i can see wager2win is still in the sand box – just search for the term in your title “Casino Guide”, its nowhere to be seen – at least not in the top 100 anyways – now search that term as an “allinanchor: casino guide” http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rls=GGLJ%2CGGLJ%3A2006-34%2CGGLJ%3Aen-GB&q=allinanchor%3A+casino+guide&btnG=Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB

and you are no.6 which indicates you are still in the sand box

I disagree that because it’s not showing for “casino guide” it is in the sandbox. Casino Guide is a highly targeted phrase. It’s such a common phrase, thousands of sites are targetting it unknowingly simply because it’s so easy to say “casino guide” in your text when writing about only casinos! Getting to the first page for that one takes a bit more than just getting out of the sandbox.

And that domain isn’t even targeting that phrase. Unless I’m missing something.

What I have to say is that the site may be getting serps for decent phrases after three weeks, but it may yet enter the dreaded sandbox. Often new sites slip past the radar, only to be sent to the void once detected. Of course, I don’t know what methods you used to avoid the sandbox, but I sure am interested!

p.s. While the first two phrases are ok, the phrases with “gallery” in them are worth, what, 1 visitor a year?

well in the uk serch for google theres only 2.8 million results so its not that competitive and wager2winuk is targeting that word alot as its the 6th most linked to site in the uk with “casino guide” in the anchor text and its in there “title” and there “H1” tags – so i would def say they are targeting that phrase.

wager2winuk is on page 1 for “casino guide” in an “allinanchor” search – Its well known that allinanchor searchs are very close to how you actally rank in google unless your sandboxed

If it was out of the sandbox it would be easy in the top 20 or 30 , yet i searched the top 100 and i bet its not in the top 500 due to the sand box

Yes i know its not 100% proof but i would say at least its at least 90%.

Basically, if you dont rank for a competive term (not even in tot 100) thats your main target phrase and you have the 6th most linked to site in google uk for that phrase – you are in the sandbox.

    Hi darko123,

I should have mention that I no longer own Wager2winUK, it was sold around the 21’st July. Hence any changes in its positioning now, well is out of my hands.

As you can see addicted2slots.com is in google and hold positions in the top 20 granted not the most favoured SERP’s (apart from bonus slots), but achieved in 3.1 weeks, well actually less :)

    Cheers

I understand that there are going to be doubting Thomas’s, that’s cool, I’d be doubting my claims too if tables were reversed.

The solution, I’ll register a new domain, set it up with maybe 3 or 4 pages and then go to work to prove it’s not a fluke and that I can do what I say.

I’m about to grab some sleep but I’ll buy it tomorrow and post it here so we can keep a clear record of dates, hows that sound?

    Cheers

Of course they are OK. Granted the other is not that great, but that’s not point here. I’m not offering search engine optimization. :)

Out of interest how long did it take you to get simuilar phrases listed in the top 20 of google? I’d bet a far greater time than 3 weeks.

As side note, an article (claim) was posted over at one of those SE forums 4 or 5 months ago. Someone claimed they could do this in 3 month or under (with a fresh domain) for popular SERP’s, needless to say most people laughed at them. Not too people were laughing when the results were posted.

As I’ve posted in my previous post above, proof of the pudding is in the eating, I’ll register a fresh domain (gambling related) and set to work on mirroring the same outcome. :)

    Cheers

Haven’t worried about these results as I’ve been only working with .com and .co.uk TLD’s. Though, there should be no reason that a .au, a .co.nz or any other Country specific domain couldn’t achieve the same results in their geographic google location specific SE.

If however your asking, would this service acheive top rankings for a .com in say google au, I’d have to say no it wouldn’t help. Again it’s not a SEO service. Though if you realyl want to get into AU engines espically google then there are ways to achieve that ;-)

I think there are a few misunderstanding here. First, the Google sandbox only affects competitive keywords. Our site has been ranked on Google since we launched for non-competitive terms like “poker deposit echeck” and “click2pay poker”. We don’t optimize these pages at all, and continue to be on and off the first pages with Google. Not even 1 click per month BTW for those terms.

Competitive terms is what the sandbox affects, and really, “bonus slots” is the only one you have listed that seems competitive (less than 100 searches per month though). Darko is correct that your allinanchor ranking is the “real” ranking for your site, so it does seem that the other site you sold is in the sandbox. If you look up Addicted2slots.com in Google, your allinanchor ranking is 25, your real ranking is greater than 500, so definitely in the sandbox.

As for international domains and Google sites, the last I heard the sandbox only affected sites in US based results, though this may have changed recently. This may be why you think you have avoided the sandbox, yet are posting Google.au results. Not a lot of people searching there.

If you have truly found the holy grail of avoiding the sandbox, then you should be charging much more than $1000 for that trade secret. Actually, you should be dominating the SERPs with your own sites since you will make much more money that way.

Sorry, but your claims don’t add up.
