Sportsbooks are harder to convert, but have higher player value.

Sportbook affiliate marketing might be quite interesting, as there is fewer competition than on casino/poker marketing

it’s harder to convert because……the betting system is confusing and difficult to learn.

much lower conversions, and for me, player value isn’t that great. But, like the casino market, a few good accounts can generate a high % of you earnings.

So… I’m optimistic about Sports Betting so long as they continue to exist.

I like promoting places that offer all types of gambling e.g Coral, Ladbrokes etc where you can play at their casino, play some poker and also place some bets on their sportsbooks. If you get a player signed up they tend to have good player retention which means good $$$$$’s :woohoo:

I also started promote only casino, poker and bingo. But recently I wanted to promote Sportsbooks. I’m a new in sportsbook but I think to become a professional. I know that it is harder to promote sportsbooks than casino but it’s very interesting.

Even though sportsbooks are going through some stormy waters, I still see the money be made by affiliates promoting sportsbooks being at an all time high. This could be due to a lot of the competition has cracked under pressure and been scared away from promoting sportsbooks.

The risk in promoting sportsbooks is slightly greater than casino and poker rooms, but do not let this deter you as the dust will settle and those who have got themselves a solid footing within the sportsbook market stand to make some good money.

If you do plan to promote sportsbooks protect yourself where you can, by clearly marking at the footer of your website to say ‘check the legality of online gaming in your own state/country’. Also host yours sites outside of the US, and do not go poaching players while within the United States. Most importantly those who have been getting in trouble through promoting sportsbooks have been involved in the credit business. Collecting funds within the states and moving over state lines and then sending to an offshore sportsbook.

It is my strong belief that this year has been a bad year for publicity of sportsbooks and also a good thing as it is cleaning up the less desirable sportsbooks out there.

Please do take a moment to check out http://www.9am.com and http://www.vipprofits.com affiliate programs to see how they work. We have over 30,000 affiliates combined and have not had an issue to report of.

Promoting sportsbooks can be a goldmine if you hit the appropriate markets. I should not be encouraging you guys to promote sportsbooks as that will be more competition but fact of the matter is sportsbooks pretty much started betting over the Internet. As to the complexity, there are simple bets to get newbies started. Multi-product sportsbooks like Simon’s NINE are great for maximizing player value – sportsbook customers tend to play casino and poker, too.

nothing new here but hope this helps.

I think competition of the sportbooks is much hard than on casino/poker marketing
