InactiveOK.. firstly – please leave the url intact when place the “x” … getting used to copying the urls :wink-wink
As for google.. well.. go figure.. I am sure that is if any single one of us really understood how they work, we would be millionaires 5 times over without breaking a sweat.
The PR means little as to your positioning as far as we all know so far.. the rest.. well guess work as far as I am concerned.
sometimes you are up there and then for no reason whatsoever, you are on page 2.

InactiveThanks for the tip on the url, I’m new to forums and didn’t know if I could put the full url up. What’s all the hype about PR if it doesn’t move up in the listings. Since I can’t pay for advertising on Google with gambling keywords, I figured getting the PR up was my only chance. Do appreciate the reply. Thanks.

InactiveThat is the big question.
What is all the hype about PR?
Nothing that I can see – but you’ll see a whole lot of webmasters refuse to swap links with any site that has a PR beneath them. It’s funny to watch the posts – will only exchange with … blah blah blah.
:laugh:Don’t let it affect your strategies, grow naturally, exchange links with quality sites – and let the PR worry about itself.
:la-de-da:My main site is only PR5, most interior pages are only PR3 or PR4, but I can still grab a keyword on SE for sports gambling terms when I want – simply based on my sites URL and longevity (I think).
PR does not yet have any tangible benefits that I can see – yet – but who knows when google will go nuts on it?

InactiveI’ve only found one clear benefit to a higher PR thus far, my links seem to sell for more when my PR is higher
.. I can say ranks #1 for blah blah blah and blah.. but if the PR is slippen, so are the link prices
.. aside from that.. My PR dropped a point on every site I own this time around, but my rank and therfore income, have both gone up considerably, I’ve never been real sure about wth sandbox is exactly.. but i think this might be me comin out of it

InactiveI have staunchly ignored PR for years.
Unless you are selling lnks, it is useless.
SERPS is what makes you money.
Personally, I look at SERPS whe considering linking, and I look at the site itself.
But then, I am a sparse linker too.
PR is for the birds.

InactiveThanks all for the PR input. I’m not sure if Casino Bonus Snoop has even been indexed long enough to be ranked. I know that Casino Cash Closet was just recently ranked for the first time with PR2 and it’s been up for 4mo. I was so excited I woke my husband up in the middle of the night to tell him, like he gave a rats ass. I am selective with my links, not at all denying those with a low PR but mainly making sure that there content is along the same theme as mine and also that their link directory is accessible from their home page. I believe that this will pay off in time. But being quite green, I do appreciate and gobble up all the (good) advice that is out there to be given. You guys rock!:chearlead
