That’s where I am booked at.August 23, 2006 at 10:30 pm #703270Anonymous
InactiveI didn’t have any problem with the Stardust. It is an older hotel, yes, but my room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was great. Sure, a room at the Wynn would have been better… but I am not willing to spend $400 a night for a place to sleep. :dajudge:

InactiveWhen booking your hotel, keep checking with the Stardust. Sometimes they get last minute cancellations and rooms become available.
But I wouldn’t count on it. I do recommend using http://www.Vegas.com to check for rooms. Hotels.com has become more expensive than booking the room directly. You can find rates for the Wynn at $299/night. You will need to look around for it.

No – $400 is a bit steep for me also.

InactiveI agree $400 for a room in vegas is ridiculous. Try the monte carlo I got a decent rate there.

InactiveIf you are looking for rooms in Vegas a highly recomend a free program called Travelaxe. It goes to all the major travel sites, compiles the prices and gives you the best rates. Great program and it is free. Just do a google for it.

InactiveHere is my advice for booking a cheap Wynn room. Call and ask for the “Poker Room Manager” and ask HER for a “poker player rate”
Say you are planning on playing there exclusively for at least 4 hours a day. Nice rate to follow.

InactiveIf you want to stay on Las Vegas Blvd., then expect to pay. If you’ll willing to avoid the hassle of driving (use of a cab is recommended) then you’ll find rooms alot cheaper off the strip! I generally go to Vegas every month for a few days to relax and the most that I’ve ever paid is $69 per night. Usually, I get a free room.
