wanting to clarify cross-marketing

Credit is always given to the last banner tag.

As you know if that user was surfing around the web they could’ve clicked on other banners or links which would leave a cookie on their system with another affiliates tracking.

So I would recommend you have them return to your site so you can be sure that it is credited to you and not some other affiliate.
