InactivePPC traffic has never converted for me. That must have cost you a pretty bundle. What book was this?

InactiveI also have similar experiences. I buy very targeted keywords, and get plenty of clicks, but no conversions. Could it just be that those clicks come from other webmasters who try to deffuse me?

InactiveSince this is a major ppc engine I don’t think they would entertain the idea of fraud clicks. But it’s frustrating to not know why the most targeted keywords that players use do not convert.

GuestHi,
There are soooo many scammers out there getting a piece of your pie that its enough to send someone running away from their PC looking for a job at Mickie D’s.
pay to clicks (real people, many many in India but I know of a college kid here in the states doing it so its all over) they are suppose to get like 50% of what you paid to advertise. Usually get nothing cause they’re dealing with thieves but the damage is already done to the PPC buyer.
robot software to create false clicks
just two of the worst. Any keyword that’s “very targeted” such as casino or gambling for instance … are high to bid for and attract the most scams.
I personally avoid both anymore nowadays. just too many people wanting a piece of that pie with the scams on one side and the casinos bidding to the hilts on the other.
Good luck with your campaigns.

InactiveRight but we’re talking about the biggest ppc engines here, who only accept very high trafficked and established partner sites to host their contents. So I don’t think fake clicks or “click robots” will be in the scenario here.

Guestif it ain’t google or yahoo then its very much questionable in my book of being guilty of allowing both those scams.
and I’m not saying google or yahoo are totally innocent either but i think they are the only ones that at least somewhat care.

They find some Top 100 websites from some third countrys and buy ad from the website than used robot software to click.

GuestOutsell recently reported that search marketers believe that around 15 percent of all clicks are invalid.
LOL. more like lucky if 15% is real … at least in our industry.

InactivePPC sucks in this industry, however your sample size is also not large enough to tell. 120 clicks for a sportsbook wouldn’t necessarily convert to a real money bettor. I’ve found sportsbooks to be the hardest to convert, and by a wide margin. But that could just be our site, depends on how you are positioned.

InactivePPC is still in the Wild-West era…
