vladcizsolMemberNo its not correct. And fortunately its not common.
I have a feeling you are going the long way around the barn to tell us you are aware of a casino doing this?

InactiveI’ve downloaded and applied for a casino that I’m promoting just to test the waters.
And I’ve received th newsletter from them without my link in it.
I don’t want to scream out, just tring to know if it was common.
Thanks for the quick response Professor.June 24, 2006 at 12:49 am #696590
vladcizsolMemberDid you visit the casino initially via an affiliate link?
I want to ensure you were tagged as being sent from an affiliate, if not then they very likely would send you newsletters with untagged links.
If you did enter and download the casino via an affiliate link did that click through, download and join register in the affiliate account?

InactiveYes, I did it via my own site (I was testing my “ccount script” and at the time the Affiliate was changing the stats system and it did show the download, after a while though.

vladcizsolMemberAre they a certified partner here at CAP? If so we would definately like to look into this further, if not then it seems like an excellent referal for APCW…

InactiveThat all good, that’s why the emails are with no affiliate link, your already tagged to yourself.
If you really want to be 100% sure, either talk to your affiliate manager or make a small deposit to test.

Inactivedalster44 I didn’t understand ” That all good”
And yes Professor, they’re Certified CAP.
Besides my friend just told me that she also received a newsletter from them.
Professor I can arrange for her to send you a reply from the same message.

InactiveOkay I’ll write this better

If you downloaded a casino from your own link, and it registered then everything worked how it should.
The newsletter, advertisement or whatever they send to you would just be follow up marketing. I can’t see why it would matter if your affiliate tag was included or not because if you were to deposit the account is still tagged to you.
Everything seems fine to me, if I’ve understood this corect.

dalster44, it does make sense what you’re saying, but if the player for what ever reason deleted the program or access the mail from another computer then I would loose a player.
The newsletter has links to new downloads and different payment options.June 24, 2006 at 1:31 am #696605Anonymous
InactiveYep, when you put it that way your right!
IThanks, I never thought it out that far.
