InactiveCan I plan on getting a response to my post? I will not accept a private conversation on this matter. I feel all CAP members have a right to know what is going on.
Please respond
Thanks

InactiveHello Greek39,
Thank you for letting us know, However, I’m sorry, I don’t have your searching skills and I couldn’t find the part of the link you mentioned on google’s first 100 links. ( searching for “Online Gambling Resource”).
Could you please give me the full link or be more specific regarding what I have to look for, so I can take a deeper look into your request.
Sincerely,

InactiveOri, you were supplied with the website and the affiliate ID why not start with going to the site in question and snooping around ???? There are links at the bottom of the doorway page that will lead you to plenty of evidence!
http://gambling.dolev-yomel.com/newdirectory/index.asp
Look at the bottom of that page 51+ pages of content; read some of the content which clearly appears to be from other sites.
Does cpays have a policy regarding the use of other affiliates content scraping stealing or use by other means without persmission? If so please point it out in your terms and conditions so that we can see it. If you do not currently have anything in your terms why not?

InactiveThanks axl for your help. ori I am trying very hard not to over load you with too much info. Just click the link then click anywhere on the site. I too would like to know cpays policies over affiliates who scrape sites for content. greek39 snh

InactiveHI ,
We at CPays, Do not accept affiliates who scrape sites for content.
Our policy is to try to get in touch with them (as I’m doing right now with the affiliate at hand) and if they do not respond within a couple of days, we deactivate their accounts until they get in touch. (as I will do in this matter).
I will keep you posted on this matter.
Sincerely,
Ori

InactiveHello ori I am still waiting patiently for a response. The problem is alot deeper than what you anticipate. I am remaining very reserved on this matter.
I request all commisions earned from this individual scraping my site to be paid directly to me or some charity of my choosing. I do not think too many webmasters would disagree.
Again I remain reserved and anticpate a speedy solution. greek39^*

InactiveYeah, you guys better do something, because they are copying my websites – all the do is change the user name…That’s not good for you couse we both will be banned and then – no money for you

InactiveI agree and something constructive is on its’ way. For every dollar you earn the scraper earns two.
Ori is probably having a really rough time right now and is uncovering things he would rather not see. For this reason I remain diplomatic about the sitiuation and hope for the best. greek39^*

InactiveHi All!!!
First of all I would like to apologize for the delay in my response, I’ve been away on a short vacation, but now I’m back at your service.
Greek39, thanks for your patience.
As for this rogue affiliate, We’ve been unable to reach him for the past week and therefore his account has been deactivated, at least until this matter is cleared out.
Greek39, as for this affiliates earnings, the balance of his account prior to the deactivation was a high negative balance, so I don’t really think that you would like me to give it to you or to anyone else.
In case this affiliate makes contact, I would update you all with the news.
Sincerely,
Ori

InactiveThank you Ori for your response I really appreciate it. I will be takin a break from tracking cpays scrapers for a while. I do have more info as usual, but I can only chase one rabbit.
But anyway you represent cpays very well Ori and thanks again. greek39

I like that response!
Better then “I will do whatever I can” response that Jeremy gave me. He did manage to get one of the sites that I complained to him about corrected for me. But the other is still there.
I thought his response should have been a more like the one given here. Rather than, “I’ll do what I can”
But that’s another story.. still Cpays scrapers though.

InactiveSo when can we expect to see this change in T&Cs?
In another thread we were promised that there would be clauses about content theft, scraping, email spamming, search engine spamming and blog spamming.
Given the highly sensitive political situation in the US, it is extremely important to stop practices that antogonize the general public ASAP! Time is of the essence.
