InactiveHi the27offsuit
Your existing links will still work with your new WagerShare account until July 1st, so you have plenty of time to change your links. We’ll be sending out login details tomorrow, to those of you that will be joining WagerShare as new affiliates.
In terms of conversions, we’re busy redesigning the websites at the moment and the player value at The Palace Group has always been exceptional, so I’m sure you’ll have more success with these casinos under the WagerShare umbrella.
Let me know if you need anything and I’m looking forward to working together.
Best regards,
Tim

Good policy. My company used to do this and it makes a lot of sense. The only worrying thing is that April the 1st next falls on a Friday in 2011. Is it quite a big job?

(okay i know you meant “over a weekend”

InactiveWill these casinos be bundled?
I believe Money Mechanics used to bundle, but may be wrong.

Money Mechanic did not bundle, but those casinos will be bundled now (presumably) — unless Wager Share changes their T&Cs.
For me, this takeover means that I have a smaller pool of Microgaming casinos to choose from, since I will not promote more than 1 casino from a group that bundles.
That being said, I do think it is very nice that WS is mapping everything over properly. This is the way it should always be done. Thumbs up to WS for doing it right.

InactiveHi Dominique
No, like the existing WagerShare brands, the Money Mechanic brands will not be bundled so a negative at Piggs Casino will not affect postitive revenue at any of our other casinos.
Engineer – Since WagerShare started 4 years ago, we have always ringfenced casinos from one another (in terms of negatives), the only bundling is of positive revenue which is highly beneficial to affiliates as it allows you to get into higher commission tiers quicker.
I hope this clears things up.
Cheers

InactiveTim will we need to change the paths for all money mechanic images currently being served?
March 29, 2006 at 9:48 am #687323Anonymous
InactiveHi Dave
I’ve been assured by the IT department that all current MM banner paths will still work after the cross-over, so you won’t have broken images on your site.
That said, the designers have been busy creating a whole host of new banners which will reflect the new bonus offers and should enjoy better click through rates, so I would advise updating your banners as soon as possible.
Cheers
Tim

This is very good to hear
I’ll be including these casinos then in future updates.
WS has been performing well for the space given.

TimThis is excellent news. I wonder why I thought otherwise?
Ahhh, I think I know why. I found this on your “commission” page:
Affiliates earn commission on a revenue share basis. This means that you earn between 25-35% of your players net revenue for the lifetime of the player and your commission tier is calculated by the total net revenue of all your players on a monthly basis. All new affiliates will earn 50% commission for the month that they register in.
And you are saying that the bundling is only applied to positive revenue, not negative revenue. Wow! I am impressed and surprised!

InactiveHi Engineer
Thank you for pointing that term out, I can see how the language used does sound like we bundle both positive and negative revenues. I’ll make sure that the term is changed to make it clear that each of the casinos are ring-fenced from each other so a negative at one cannot affect a positive at another, but that all positive revenues are bundled to calculate the commission tiers.
Cheers
Tim
