Funnily enough i am just sorting out Wild Jack at the moment. Problem is my new Panasonic VS6 isnt supported yet so i can’t test it. I saw the Spin3 Microgaming system at ICE in 2005 and again in 2006. Big potential IMO.
The main downside i can see is that age verification procedures mean the player has to register a credit/debit card. NETeller is an option, but it looks like only after you have verified with a card deposit in the first instance.
As for the Phantom Fiber (RTG, Tribeca, IQL, Wagerworks etc) system, i’m not sure. They wree first to market and again it looks neat but i am unsupported right now so can’t test. Sidenote: PF supports a large no. of handsets, but unlike Spin3, doesn’t support Nokia yet!
The thing i really want to test is the WAP data costs for downloading games and actually playing. That could make a huge difference to takeup. Conversely, it could restrict use to more seasoned gamers which wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Cheers
