InactiveWell – think about this … with most downloads you can then play free games without any cash content. It’s fun, entertaining and a reasonable nights entertainment.
I’ve personally downloaded about 10 versions of poker – but only ever deposited at 1 place. And I had no intention of using any more unless the new places were spectacular (and they weren’t).
IF you’re attracting visitors to download with FREE offer, FREE ROLL (etc) then you’ve got to expect a very low conversion rate to cash players.
FREEBIE hunters don’t want to spend cash – that’s why they were searching for FREE games. One of the hardest things is to get a person to make their first EVER online purchase – be it poker chips, CDs or books.
Once that barrier is broken it makes it a lot easier to convert again and again.
If you’re getting visitors based on SAFETY, SECURITY, or TOP RANKED or MATCHING BONUS terms then it should be a lot easier to convert them.THese players could be said to have jumped the first hurdle of online purchase and are now actively looking to buy.
I guess the thrust is that all visitors ARE NOT EQUAL. Make sure that you’re targeting the right sort.

InactiveI’m having the same problem with Titan specifically… bunch of downloads, 0 conversions. Of course, I entered in a private agreement with Titan and got paid up front for advertising, so that may be why…

Inactivedepends on the traffic, sometimes it takes 10 downloads for 1 signup (not depositor). From good SE traffic you might get 8 signups and 4 depositors from 10 downloads.
Also, it takes time. I’m still receiving new registrations and depositors from an ad campaign that ended in April 2004. :happydanc
