InactiveI use awstats that is provided by my host, and also use Statcounter as a third party application. The reason being i can set a cookie to ignore my own page views that would otherwise distort my traffic considering the low number of pageviews i get.

Guess you can add me also…I like statcounter. It is free and the counter itself can be invisible.

InactiveI used to use addfreestats.com and it’s a great program, but I have switched over all of my websites to http://www.statcounter.com this program has so much more detail and seems to track slightly better.

InactiveEvery stats program gives you a different view of your visitors and each helps you make decisions on your marketing campaigns or site improvements. That said, I use:
AWStats which is provided for free from my web host, low quality, but you can find a few nuggets of information that are good.
Statcounter which is the one I look at the most for the most recent visitor reports…it’s great knowing where people come from and if they make it past your homepage (one way to tell it’s a real person if you are testing out a PPC campaign)
Google Stats which has an incredible level of information and is free (it’s the old Urchin, which was always considered one of the best), the only thing that is missing is the ease of finding your daily traffic reports…at least in the way that Statcounter lays it out for you…but, Google Stats is great for getting aggregate information and for setting up code to track key actions on your site (i haven’t played around with that yet, but it seems very useful even if you can’t run an Adwords campaign).

One free domain for keeps, machine type i686(very good)
The server went down once for an hour the mother board got fried was up again in a hour. greek39

Inactiveyoga wrote:Does statcounter count exit links, the most important factor of an affiliate site…?They do, but more importantly they are working on, or have available reports on what site a user went too after leaving yours. Not sure if it is available now since I think it may be a part of their paid service.
