InactiveAm I missing something here? I can see a domain should be related to gambling in one way or another but does the it affect seo? Not according to my knowledge. Page titles and the url extension does. My domain is onlinegambling7 does this affect my seo? nope. My serps are good have pr4 site who really cares about that.
I often wonder why people get so hung up on their domain name. Why not gamblingglue with the extension bestpoker.html Then name title your page best poker. I found this method works best.
Or best online poker for key words poker, online poker, best poker, poker online. I don’t know? greek39

InactiveThe root domain will only help SEO for non-competive keywords. Every gambling related keyword is overly optimized, therefore, it doesn’t matter which domain you choose, it’s the on-page factors that Greek is mentioning and your linking strategy that will position you in the SERPS.

InactiveFreeonlineslots may get you some type in traffic, but SlotsFortune is more brandable and may attract people who are willing to spend more money.
Domains DO matter, SEO isn’t everything.

InactiveTo be honest Dominique I really lack knowledge in this area. I know this my serps great for example microgaming bonuses P.1 pos10 on google. I don’t understand how I got out of the sandbox get pr4 rating and hold several positons normally in the top ten for keywords. My site went online in June 2005 as a coming soon page I slowly added to it. Currently its only ten pages long and I am drawing a profit.
This confuses the hell out of me. I just built a site with realtively no knowledge. I am slowly gainning some knowledge, but as you know I am missing at least four years of computer use.
I didn’t know what hidden text was or mirror site was until you took the time to explain to me, thank you. But my site really confuses me? greek39

That would be nice, if all the rules were carved in stone and all we needed to do was follow them.
Even staying up to date isn’t good enough, you almost need to be one step ahead.
I just build a site that will be good to the visitor, and try not to do anything to piss the engines off. That works for me.
