GuestImagining does little to warn your fellow webmasters of falling victim to the same.
Give us a name.
and sorry to hear you’ve had to go thru what nearly all seasoned vets of this niche endure. but if you’ve been around since 2002 then you’re already a member of that not so exclusive club.

InactiveHi,
Im trying that, at least, they pay me what is stated in my account for October.
If they refuse to do that, Ill post the name of the program and everyone of you will make your choices.
It’s true that all that they say can be true… but why a chargeback after a $32000 month winning…. why??????
Ok… lets see what they do…Thanks,
GS

vladcizsolMemberAs disturbing as this is Players DO chargebacks. Especially when they may have a gambling problem and have spent far more then they should have. They panic, they wonder if the casino cheated them, they wrestle with how to break it to their spouse that they gambled away a significant amount of money online and now cant meet other household obligations.
We have all had this happen to us if we have been active for any amount of time. It sucks, its like getting punched in the stomach by Mike Tyson, it makes YOU wonder if the casino is cheating you, but its not always an indication of dishonesty.
Have you discussed the situation with the affiliate manager of the program in question?
Quote:Imagine you have a player there since August 2002 that have deposit tens of thousands of dollars since then.Since 2002 has the casino NOT payed you when this player played?

InactiveHi Professor,
Thanks for your words…
I have been in contact with the affiliate manager.
There is one big fault they can not deny: You check your stats and see a positive number and wait for the payment. Then, you email them and you hear “There was a chargeback”. Thats showing one thing and giving another.
Im waiting for a proof of the chargeback from the affiliate manager… he said a minutes ago he will send it.I think i was not used to this “punches”…
They have payed me since 2002 “normal” amounts but this is the first time the player won such a big amount: more than 32k in September… and I was expecting a big return in October… and all I received was a chargeback…

InactiveEZgambler,
This is one of those situations where I have to say
#!t happens!”It is unfortunate, but there are players that do charge back. This is commonly a problem for affiliates now, almost all programs will charge the affiliate with the chargeback.
The reason for this lies in the past – there used to be affiliates running scams where a player would deposit and play, the affiliate would get paid, and then the player would charge back. Then the two would share the money and laugh all the way to the bank.
To protect themselves affiliate programs had to start charging affiliates with chargebacks. It is a crying shame and can feel offensive, but the programs really have no choice there.
Re. the stats display: I can’t say it often enough. Shame, shame for such a large company as Microgaming to be unwilling to provide decent stats.
They expect marketers (affiliate programs) to be programmers. This is the most shortsighted thing a software company collecting royalties can do.
Affiliate programs are not programmers. They are doing the best they can to provide us with the stats we need and want. It’s Microgaming’s fault when things get messy.
