InactiveI think something needs to be clarified….
You may know that the PokerShare Affiliate Program through Income Access has not…
Effective November 1st, 2005, PokerShare has decided that the Affiliate Program through Income Access will no longer…
Please clarify — is this an Income Access policy or a PokerShare policy?
If this is just an Income Access policy, rakeback affiliates can still sign up on this page to get around the new rule.
I found this on the PokerShare “affiliate” page:
How much does it cost to become an affiliate?
Itβs FREE to become a PokerShare.com affiliate, all you need to do is send an email to [email protected].
Where is the link to Income Access? π

Where is the link to Income Access? πHi Guys,
Income Access is the official affiliate program for PokerShare. This policy change came straight from PokerShare and affects all PokerShare affiliates.
The link to join the PokerShare Affiliate Program can be found here:

InactiveIt has been said multiple times, and Dominique even answered – again – in the other thread.
I was at the Foxwoods in the past few days. They have a boutique there selling high quality watches. I liked the 9280$ platinum/black Rolex. If the salesperson told me that they are produced in Malaysia and cost 400$ to produce, then I would feel ripped off and wouldn’t buy from that store.
If you offer rakeback to your players, you are educating them. If you give them 25%, they will shop around to find a 30% rakeback. And if they find a 30% rakeback, they will shop around to look for a 33% rakeback + iPod.
How difficult is it to understand how this isn’t in affiliates’ favor?

InactiveYou may call them rakebacks but see them as kickbacks. New boss new rules, something fair for everybody I quess. greek39

Inactivedamiandunlap wrote:And the poker room that offer rakeback to me would make more money. There is a difference between “offering” rakeback and “allowing” rakeback.
Offering rakeback means that the rakeback program is operated by the website itself. In other words, it is the same for every affiliates so there is no bidding wars.
Allowing rakeback means that the rakeback program isn’t operated by the website itself.. it’s operated by affiliates and is allowed by the site. This brings overbidding, affiliate theft etc.
No offense there, but if it’s all about the players to you, why are you on an affiliate website where the goal is to turn players into income?

InactiveDamian, it’s simple.
The room should pay for the rake back, not the affiliate.
