Damian–going after Brad seems a bit unfair, considering it’s his property which has been lifted. I remember a particular thread at WOL, where you were quite angry that another site had a similar theme to that of the OPU. In that thread, you wrote the following:

We The OPU covers every site we have on are site. Not just casinos

Not much difference in sentiment as to what Brad wrote–the only real difference is that Brad has suffered actual theft. Obviously, it would be well within his rights to go after the OPU if his property is not removed. Knowing the OPU is about doing the right thing, I’d imagine Brad’s property will be removed (if it hasn’t been, already).
Damian, you are barking up the wrong tree. Brad is one of the most stand up guys in this industry. Of course it’s up to you, but don’t start a pissing match. All he wants is plagarized stuff removed, and he didn’t accuse you. I think we all realize that a forum has limited control over its members, and it looks to me like he was blaming your forum member and giving you the benefit of the doubt.

So many things in this post are so wrong that it simply makes me shake my head in disgust…
Brad in on it??? Why would he hurt himself ? Seriously.. makes no sense whatsoever..
He threatened the person who COPIED his content – any webmaster would do the same.. Copying has become a massive pest in this industry and needs to be stopped.
You could have simply said.. “Damn – I really did not know it was there and will make sure it is removed as soon as possible – sorry!”Whether he bought the content or wrote it himself – it does NOT excuse the fact that somebody copies it off his site..
This is something that I get really worked up about as it hurt us horribly earlier this year… copying content really hurts people and it is natural that people get upset about it.
Stop looking for conspiracies and simply apologise to Brad for the infringement and it all goes away.. whether it was your fault or not.. you are responsible for the site and therefore must be the person to take action.

Brad has no dog in the OPU vs. Sucks/ECC craziness. Brad was wronged, end of story. To try and make this into something that it’s not is simply adding insult to injury.
I really hope all this OPU vs. Sucks/ECC stuff can settle down. The fact that it’s now reared its ugly head here at CAP, is a shame (particularly when there was absolutely no good reason for it to be mentioned within this thread).

I just got back from London and I must say Damian you need to appoligize to my very good friend Brad. He is one of the best in this industry. Content theft is wrong and as others here it pisses me off.
I am just shocked that you do not have any control what a Mod or staff member post at your site, the fact is your the owner so it falls in your lap, I see nothing wrong with Brad posting, any of us would have done the same if it was our content stolen.
Damien Brad is as honest as the day is long, hell he’s even more honest. I can PERSONALLY vouch for him. I am sure this whole thing is a big misunderstanding. I am sure you would feel EXACTLY the same way Brad did if the content you paid for was being posted elsewhere.
I also believe you weren’t aware those reviews belonged to another webmaster, so I think this is all a huge mistake. I am sure you will do the right thing and remove the content and we can all move on.
Let’s put this one down as an unfortunate misunderstanding that was quickly addressed and taken care of.
