InactiveWho are you buying traffic from? This was brought up in another thread — the traffic from some PPC engines is questionable.

InactiveUsing 7search and Goclick right now. Just signed up with ROAR. I had to drop 411web as the results were awful.
7 and Go provide a good flow of player but they are predominetly play money. Those that do deposit seem to generate a good amount of MGR.

InactiveThe key is that the page you direct someone to from your PPC ad sells them exactly, or more than, they were expecting from the ad. You want them to click the advert, and then to get more than they were expecting, if you see what i mean.
Easier said than done tho

…..the easier said than done part is really true. If I direct them directly to the site, I put my faith in the sites ability to generate a sign up. Obviously some are better than others.:woo-hoo:
If I direct them to my site, I have to find a way to WOW them with more than the normal “join this room because” same old stuff.
Direct to the site seems to be getting a greater sign up percentage, so maybe working something out with the site to get follow ups of some type to them would help increase the conversion.
Thanks for the input…….F2E

InactiveI never direct trafic directly to a casino etc. site anymore. Everything goes to my site, or to a special landing page if needed.
I want to know exactly how many clicks etc, and I don’t want the program to know exactly how I get my traffic. It makes me disposable.
Besides, preselling makes for better conversions.

InactiveI agree with Dom, I know that if a visitor find my site, my conversion rate is very high. My site is a newbie (only 3 months old), but every visitor I got views at least 8 pages, and 8 from 10 visitor clicks through to some poker site.
I dont think this conversion would be the same if I redirect the visitor directly to the poker room. I like to “warm up” my players, and maybe they will sign up through me, but not without my recommendations

And yes, I don’t want the poker rooms know where and how (for what keywords, etc) they get the traffic.
Hope this helps
