InactiveGreat idea! A chance to give a little back. :happydanc :hattip:
Could you create a “Charity” type banner for this exclusively? I for one would be happy to give it front page exposure.

GuestHi,
If you login at http://www.sharetherake.com and click PokerFundraiser on the left side menu and then tournament banners in the main part, you will see 2 banners. If you use the code that is displayed, clicks will go right to the profile page for this benefit.
If anyone needs a special banner, let me know.September 20, 2005 at 9:10 pm #673091Anonymous

It will be a 50/50 split tournament with a $50 buyin. $25 goes toward the prize pool and $25 goes to the Kristen Richter Cancer Fund. The poker room is not taking a fee.I’m in. If I win anything, it will go toward the Bernie and Kristen too. I’ll be playing hard for it. Hope to see fish and the overly-agressive types as well.

GuestThat’s the spirit! Thanks. We do say on the site that we welcome winners to donate part or all back to the cause.

InactiveI just wanted to wish Bernie and Kristen the best as usual. Unfortunately I won’t be able to play in it, we’re still running about in the US and will be somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic on the 15th.
Jeff, awesome work as usual! Also, Jeff, can you post this in the Superior forum on PA, it’ll get some good exposure there!

GuestHello,
This tournament is currently in the announced tournaments and should be ready for registration soon. I will be mailing to all of our players this week with a reminder to register for this event. It’s listed as 50/50 Charity tournament (although we prefer to use the word benefit). This makes it easy to find for this and future events.
Thanks for participating in this. We hope you keep pushing PokerFundraiser.org as we bring new events on.October 11, 2005 at 4:18 pm #674161Anonymous
GuestHey there,
Just wanted to bump up a reminder that this tournament is happening this Saturday at Superior Poker. If you haven’t started running traffic through PokerFundraiser.org, you can go into http://www.ShareTheRake.com now and get banners for this and you will get credit for all the players you send. This will be great for Bernie and Kristen, and it will be great for this poker fundraising experiment.
