InactiveAt this point audits are private situations where the program shows you their stats concerning you if they want to and you ask nicely.
They can’t really do that for everyone all the time – it’s way too time consuming.
I have asked for this maybe 3 times in 5 years. Each time all was in order.
APCW does some testing and publishes the results to members.
And most of us periodically sign up under each other’s links and test that way.
Yes, real auditing would go a long, long way to restore the trust in this industry.
I’ve been in sales for years. In the real world, this type of arrangement is unheard of and is definitely not what you would call sound business practice
It’s not. Not at all. And the breaches of contract of late are very, very worrysome. In such a fragile situation based on trust, you have to be sure that you can count on contracts being honored.

InactiveA contract is as good as the person signing it. We really don’t have an upper hand on them at all! 🙁

InactiveYeah, but our power lies in our ability to organize as a group against any affiliate program that has proven to be deceitful. THAT certainly can make a difference, because as webmasters (many of whom hold top search engine rankings for keywords that are searched hundreds or thousands of times a day) we DO control, to a large extent, what information we choose to give the public regarding a certain casino or poker room.
For example, read about the Fortune Affiliates post at: (http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/fortune-affiliates-has-been-blacklisted.6862.html?)
Many who are blacklisting that affiliate program are placing negative information about the program’s casinos on their website. If anyone types in “blacklisted casinos” on Google, MSN or Yahoo, Dominiques page will come up and will deter any prospective players to their casinos.
So if an affiliate program is deceitful, affiliates can make a difference by detering future players. Depending on the level of cohesion between us, affiliates are a powerful force!

InactiveOur power is in dominating the search engines and educating players.
I had taken Fortune off the blacklist as I thought they would act in tandem with Vegas Partners. And now on Monday if there is no communiucation back up they go. And stay, I am tired of this game. Both Fortune and Referback will be blackilsted again if I do not see the contracts we signed honored again on Monday.
I have shown enough patience, and I am sick of being ignored.
I will also go back to the players and tell everyone what is going on, that contracts are not being honored. Players need to know too who they are thinking of doing business with.
Lots of other great choices out there.
