geez. 3 months in 5 days.

my GF’s grandparent’s nurse somehow gave her grandmother way too much high blood pressure medicine and made her real sick today.

what is it with the medical industry? I know they’re busy and all that but even in the sod business when dealing with a situation which we did like hundreds of times a year, if not at least once a day, since it was potentially life (at least limb) threatening we always were very particular with double-checking everything before we put that person in that position.

sometimes I don’t think the medical associated people give it the respect it deserves. I suppose its desensitivation that becomes the factor because a lot of times they don’t seem too worried about things that have me asking all kinds of questions.

My dad once was very ill and who knows what would have happened if my mom hadn’t noticed they had pinched one of the tubes they had in him and it wasn’t feeding like it should. things like that shouldn’t happen as often as they seem to happen IMHO.

    Will keep on prayin B.j

ps. hope you got my payment. its there :).

Not that I think doctors are “bad,” but they can cause and contribute to many problems.

    Quote:
A 2002 study shows that 20 percent of hospital medications for patients had dosage mistakes. Nearly 40 percent of these errors were considered potentially harmful to the patient. In a typical 300-patient hospital the number of errors per day were 40.38

Hope things get better for you guys.

Geez. Well my and my wife know the feeling. My wife has been ill since the begining of they year. Although they have a diagnosis, seems like no one wants to help us and they keep bouncing us from doctor to doctor. Like a Dr’s hot potato game. :cuss:

I’ve posted about it in my blog…
