Where would one look at your site?
Add the URL to your signature. That will get you a few eyeballs to begin with. Then try doing a search for ‘link building’ in Google, and start a linking campaign.
Seriously?
It takes time, effort and internet, search engine know-how.
Some of that can be short-circuited by large sums of cash.Having a “nice” site usually doesn’t enter into the issue of attracting visitors – that matters once they get there.
To get traffic :
1) Submit your site to search engines …
2) Exchange links – that way the search engines will find your site anyway.
3) As has been said – put your site in your post sig. It’s another link.
4) Put your site in your business email sig. it’s been known to work.
5) Put your site on your business card.Basically – every time you get a chance – create some sort of linkage or branding to your site.
Most internet sites will die of neglect from their owners within 3-6 months of starting – so if you can survive that then you’re on your way !!
