InactiveYup and the Bourbon update has been playing with results lot sover the past few days. Probably continue for a while but hopefully we will see less scraper sites ranking if the rumours are true.

InactiveIt’s still down… Two days now. I would be happy to see PR disappearing forever.

InactiveI would now not be surprised if it disappears for good.

I can see very spammy sites being returned on some datacenters.

Inactivegoogle’s got no frigging clue how to get spam outta their results. they’re right where alta vista was in 1998 so basically they’re fucked. hopefully a good replacement will come along the same way they came along and replaced alta vista

InactiveThe PR tool was greyed out since yesterday. There’s all sorts of speculation on some SEO forums almost of the point of mass hysteria! Many think Google are getting rid of it. Oh well…

InactiveIt’s possible that there is some problem with the tool and google servers. If it is a major update on google, we can observe a major change to all of us.

InactiveThat’s an interesting article. I’d imagine we’ll know what’s really going on tomorrow when the Googleplex re-opens after Memorial Day. But the Google PR tool has never been down for this long a period of time before. Ever.

InactiveI just can’t believe that a public traded company could erase such an important tool without a press released attached.
Such a behavior would be a major blow to shareholders. A company making decisions without informing their shareholders would be penalised in the stock market.
I believe we will see the PR working before the opening bell tomorrow, or at least a press release.
